AICTE - CMAT 2017 Registration end date extended to December 25; 600 B-schools to choose from
CMAT 2017 registration end date has been extended further by AICTE and will now close on December 25
All India Council for Technical Education, the organizing body convening CMAT 2017 for admission to PGDM/MBA 2017-19 in more than 600 B-schools has extended again the CMAT registration last date to December 25, 2016 from December 15.
CMAT 2017 offers admission opportunity to AICTE approved MBA/PGDM programmes commencing 2017. This is the second time that CMAT 2017 registration end date has been extended. The registration process for CMAT 2017 was supposed to end on December 10 but it was first extended to December 15 and now it has further been extended to December 25.
Now the CMAT 2017 Registration window will remain open till Sunday Dec 25, 2016 facilitating more candidates to apply for CMAT 2017.

The extended registration end date for CMAT 2017 offers last opportunity for MBA aspirants to explore admission opportunity in some of the top B-schools in the country. Although CMAT 2017 exam scores will be accepted by 600 plus B-schools, a few most sought after among them are

AICTE will conduct CMAT 2017 as a computer based test (CBT) on January 28, 2017. AICTE will now conduct only 1 CMAT exam instead of 2 CMAT exams which were earlier used to be held in the months of September and February every year.
CMAT 2017 is the second largest MBA/PGDM entrance test after CAT. After becoming a yearly exam, it is expected that more than 1 lakh test takers would register for CMAT 2017.

10 days to CMAT registration: Check your eligibility
All the candidates who are graduates or are in the final year of graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply for CMAT 2017. Candidates desirous of applying to appear in CMAT 2017 exam and missed the opportunity to register for CMAT till Dec 15, now still have 10 days left to submit their online application.
Registration fee
Test fee is included in the registration and application fee for CMAT 2017. For General/OBC Category candidates the registration and test fee is Rs. 1400/- and for SC/ST/PD candidates the test fee is Rs.700/-. This fee is excluding the bank charges, if any.
While making cash payment at the bank, you will have to pay Rs. 40/- towards bank charges in addition to Rs. 1400/- registration fee.
A candidate can pay the fee on-line through Net banking/Credit/Debit card or can pay cash through challan generated online and cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of India. Please remember Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
CMAT 2017 registration requirements
Whether you are making payment online or in cash, you will have to complete the CMAT 2017 registration process online only. To complete your registration error free, AICTE suggests key points to avoid any kind of mistake & arrange for the required information before you begin the CMAT 2017 registration process as shared below-
Good Internet connectivity for glitch free Registration
Ensure that you have a Computer with good Internet connectivity so that there is no breakage of Internet during registration process
Be correct on Academics
Please see that you have gathered and are filling up all your qualification details correctly while registering for CMAT 2017 exam
Upload scanned photo & signature of correct size
You need to upload your scanned photo while registering, hence keep ready a scanned clear photo of yours taken on a white background. The size of this photo should be 140 x 160 (60Kb)
You also need to upload your scanned signature while registering, hence keep ready your scanned clear signature done on a white background. The size of this signature file should be 60 x 90 (30Kb).
Valid e-mail id & Mobile number
Your e-mail id should be Valid and must remain valid for at least another 6-8 months. You will be using this e-mail id at least for the next 6 months. All communication will be done on this e-mail id which you will enter while registering for CMAT 2017 exam You should also enter the correct & valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent to this number
Valid Credit/Debit Card
In case you are making payment Online, please ensure that you have a valid Credit/Debit card so that your payment transaction remains smooth and does not get stuck incurring any loss of money to you.
Facility to make cash payment at Bank
In case you are planning to pay cash at the bank, please ensure to print 3 copies of Challan. You may get a printer connected to your system to facilitate the process or copy it in your pen drive to take print from elsewhere.
You will see a Challan on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 print outs of this Challan, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch located in India with cash on the next day of generation of Challan. Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan generation.
CMAT 2017 registration that started on October 10, 2016 requires you to make your payment first and will then allow you to complete the registration process. Last date of registration now ends on December 25 and AICTE does not offer any provision to complete your registration after the last date with late fee.
