Course Highlights

The programme offers specialisations in Finance, Information Management, Marketing and Operations. In addition, SPJIMR also offers minors. The current list of minors is Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Information Management, Manufacturing and Marketing and Operations & Supply Chain.

 

The programme nurtures a sense of Social Responsibility and Sensitivity amongst its students by:

  • Exposing students to life and circumstances across socio-economic strata of society
  • Building an appreciation of rural poverty and leading inquiries into deprivation
  • Encouraging students to inquire into the larger role and purpose of business

Specifically, our five-course programme of Value-Based Leadership is designed to nurture socially sensitive, value-driven leaders.

 

The fee for the Class of 2018 for Indian students is Rs. 16.25 lakhs*  (This fee includes tuition fee, basic hostel/ accommodation and Global Fast Track. It does not include the cost of travel, boarding, lodging, visa, insurance and incidentals for Global Fast Track.)

Admissions Process

SPJIMR accepts applications from both freshers and candidates with up to 5 years of work experience.

  • The applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles.
  • They are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams CAT 2018, XAT 2019, GMAT.
  • The profiles are scored and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile-based and Profile-cum-score based.
  • Interviews Applicants shortlisted in the first list are called for an early interview. The shortlist is based on their profile considering the Consistency of academic record, Relevance of work experience for the specialization, Versatility & achievements.
  • Second Phase Shortlists is held after the availability of entrance test scores. Applicants in this phase are called for interviews on basis of their profile along with their performance in the entrance tests.
  • Selection list is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT), relevance of work experience (if any) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.
