IRMASAT Selection Process

Admission 2021 to PGDRM at IRMA is through IRMASAT 2021 selection process. The selection process consists of following parameters and is divided in four stages:

1. Submission of Application with CAT 2020/XAT 2021 score
2. Shortlisting through IRMASAT selection criteria 2021
3. Participating in selection process of IRMASAT, followed by GA-PI round in February 2021
4. Securing final admission offer after completion of  IRMASAT Selection procedure 2021 as per the weightage awarded to various components in IRMASAT admission process 2021

Stage 1of IRMASAT 2021 Selection Process: Submit Application
Submission of application is the first step in the IRMASAT admission process 2021. IRMA Application fee is Rs.1500/-. The application fee is to be paid online only. Last date to apply for admission to IRMA is December 31, 2020. Stage 2 of IRMASAT 2021 Selection Process: Shortlisting Criteria
IRMASAT 2021 admission process for PGDRM 2021-23 batch at IRMA has been changed. Now the shortlisting for final selection round will be based either on profile or on the CAT/XAT score, and only the shortlisted candidates will be able to appear in IRMASAT and GA-PI Round

The shortlisting criterion on profile and Non- profile is based on CAT/XAT exam score. The next step involves taking the IRMASAT and GD-PI conducted by IRMA.

IRMASAT Shortlisting Criteria
The first part of IRMASAT Admission criteria is its shortlisting criteria for final selection round. A candidate will be shortlisted by IRMA in two phases before he/she appears in IRMASAT:

Profile Based Shortlisting Criteria
The applicants who are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles should also meet a minimum qualifying score in the entrance exam. Candidates who fulfill the following criteria can be shortlisted for profile based calls:

• Graduation in Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology
• Work experience in Development Sector, Dairy, Public Policy
• Excellence in Academics with graduation from Top universities and Colleges
• Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2020/XAT 2021 and fall in the Profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GD/PI process

Non-Profile Based Shortlisting Criteria
Applicants are also shortlisted separately with Non-Profile based Criteria for IRMASAT selection procedure and GD-PI round:  

• Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2020/XAT 2021 and fall in the Non-Profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GD/PI process.
• Both IRMASAT 2021 and GD/PI process will be conducted at IRMA for shortlisted candidates
• Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for short listing for next stage of Admissions process

IRMA Admission Process 2021: CAT/XAT Score Cut Off  
IRMA gives higher emphasis on other quality parameters in its admission process. Accordingly, the B-school has not pegged the CAT, XAT score cut off very high. The candidates above the minimum cut-offs in the CAT 2020/XAT 2021 will be considered for all the subsequent stages.

Stage 3 of IRMASAT 2021 Selection Process: IRMASAT Exam, GA-PI Round
All the shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in IRMASAT 2021 Final selection round for admission to IRMA, Anand.

• Short listed candidates are called for to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2021 (IRMASAT 2021), Group Activity and Personal Interview.
• The IRMASAT 2021 selection process and GD/PI process will be conducted at IRMA for shortlisted candidates.

Stage 4 of IRMASAT Selection Procedure 2021: Final Admission offer
The final admission offer is based on the entire Selection Process of IRMASAT which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/XAT), Work experience (If any), Performance in IRMASAT,  Performance in Group Activity and Personal Interview.

Weightage for IRMA Final Selection components
The final IRMASAT Selection Criteria 2021 will award following weightages to various components in selection procedure before releasing the final merit list for PGDRM admission 2021:

On the basis of IRMA selection procedure, final admission offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of April/First week of May 2021
