SET 2019 Syllabus & Preparation

SET exam Syllabus is very much similar to class 12 syllabus for English and class 10 syllabus for Mathematics. SET 2019 exam paper has 4 sections: General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an online computer based test which covers questions on major topics of class 12. Except for  General Awareness and Reasoning, the candidates can very well prepare for SET exam with their class 12 books.


There are 150 questions divided among these 4 sections in SET. While Reasoning section has 30 questions, the other 3 sections have 40 questions each.


You will get 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no Negative marking in SET 2019. Accordingly, a good guess work can also be made in the exam judiciously keeping in mind that time is not wasted.

Section-1: General English
This section in SET 2019 includes questions on Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension passages. Vocabulary and Grammar based questions are an important part of General English section. Key topics are:

Section-4: Analytical & Logical Reasoning
