BBA paves way for higher Management studies
BBA students have the advantage to pursue MBA at an easier pace as compared to the graduates from other streams as the students from other streams have to learn afresh all the concepts and their implementation process practically. Students who have done BBA have already covered a larger part of management learning and during MBA they are well prepared for advanced learning and meaningful implementation.

Besides, the students who are pursuing IPM at IIM Indore or 5 year BBA+MMS at NMIMS Mumbai need not to appear again the MBA entrance test like CAT or NMAT to pursue the post graduate MBA programmes at these prestigious institutes.

While all the 150 IPM students at IIM Indore will get promoted to PGP (MBA) programme after completion of their BBA programme, the best 120 students at NMIMS with 3.0 and above Cumulative Grade Points (CGPA) at the end of 2nd year and if they meet the eligibility criteria, will be offered admissions to the MMS Program from 3rd year of the BBA program.

However, NMIMS has kept the option open for the students to exit from the program after successful completion of the BBA Program after the 3rd year.

Accordingly, if a student wishes to do MBA after his BBA degree, there are many advantages as he already has acquired the knowledge and skills to learn the best of management in the MBA course. It will be easier for him to grasp things as he has clear idea on choosing specializations.

In nutshell, the larger perspective of Business World is the key advantage of BBA course. Students acquire management skills at very early stage. It helps student learn the knowledge of business world and act as a leader to take business decisions. Another important aspect is the cost factor. Doing BBA is comparatively economical than doing MBA as investment amount is less while return is high.
