14th INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE- A Grand Success!

The 14th edition of INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE (IMC) 2024 was organized by MBAUniverse.com and hosted by XLRI Jamshedpur on September 20-21. IMC 2024 witnessed a confluence of 25+ distinguished speakers including AICTE Chairman, AACSB International Asia Head, CXOs from ITC, UBER, Axis Bank and KPMG and Directors from IIMs, IITs, XLRI, SPJIMR, MDI… 200+ Delegates attended the Conclave.

AICTE Chairman Dr T G Sitharam releases IMC 2024 Theme Paper; Compliments IMC for publishing insightful papers on burning issues

The 14th IMC 2024 began on a high note with the release of annual Theme Paper by AICTE Chairman Dr T G Sitharam on September 20 at XLRI Jamshedpur. Releasing the Paper, AICTE Chairman complimented Indian Management Conclave for relevance of theme papers and white papers it has published. He urged management education fraternity to refer to IMC 2024 theme paper, as well the previous whitepaper on New Education Policy, which he had released at IMC 2023. 

During his inaugural address at IMC 2024, Dr Sitharam said, “I compliment Indian Management Conclave Founder Amit Agnihotri for publishing very relevant papers on management education. Your document ‘NEP 2020: Pathways for Standalone B-schools’ is an insightful document, which is referred to by AICTE.” He further added, “I am sure IMC 2024 theme paper on MBA Jobs and Competencies will help B-schools move in right direction and I urge B-schools to pay close attention to your paper.” Read more.

K J Somaiya Mumbai, MICA Ahmedabad, FLAME University Pune Win IMC Awards 2024; Highlight Competency Development initiatives for in-demand MBA Roles

A highlight of IMC 2024 was competition held for IMC Awards for Excellence in Management Education, popularly known as IMC Awards. K J Somaiya Institute of Management Mumbai won the coveted IMC Gold Award for their newly launched initiative ‘Parivartan’. More than 45 B-schools from all parts of the country competed for IMC Awards 2024.

MICA Ahmedabad won the IMC Silver Award and while FLAME University Pune won the IMC Bronze Award 2024. The Award was presented at IMC 2024 Valedictory function by Mr Prabhjeet Singh, President, UBER India & South Asia and Mr Amit Agnihotri, Founder, IMC & MBAUniverse.com in presence of Fr Sebastian George, S.J, Director, XLRI Jamshedpur. IMC-IRC 2024 Best Research Paper Award 2024 Announced! Eminent Jury from IITs, XLRI, IIMs select Papers by Aindrila Chatterjee & Tulika Sharma, Neethu Ismail & Lishin Joshy, Pooja Jain & Yukti Ahuja as Winners

IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) 2024, an integral part of 14th IMC 2024, saw participation from 150+ Scholars from 9 IIMs, XLRI, SPJIMR, IRMA, NMIMS, Symbiosis University amongst others. 
After two rounds of Jury Presentations, Aindrila Chatterjee and Tulika Sharma won the prestigious IMC-IRC Best Paper Gold Award 2024. Jury also announced Neethu Ismail and Lishin M. Joshy as winner of the IMC-IRC Best Paper Silver Award 2024. Pooja Jain and Yukti Ahuja won the IMC-IRC Best Paper Silver Award 2024. IMC-IRC 2024 theme was ‘Advancing Management Education.'

A total of 40 papers, selected from about 150 papers, were presented in Six Tracks during IMC-IRC 2024. Award winners were decided by an eminent Jury Members and Track Chairs including Dr Sanjay Patro, Dean-Academics, XLRI Jamshedpur; Dr Arpan K. CXOs from UBER, ITC, KPMG Conclave Theme: Contemporary Roles & Competencies for Reshaping MBA Program
The theme for IMC 2024 aims to identify contemporary in-demand roles offered to fresh MBA graduates by MBA recruiting sectors. A big trend being observed in the recent MBA placement seasons was that large number of companies seek to hire MBA graduates directly for specific roles with little training. Read More
