Breaking News: CAT 2013 Rescheduled for Andhra Pradesh

In a recent development, Prometric India, the agency which conducts CAT 2013 exams on behalf of IIMs has announced that it is trying to re-schedule the test for those aspirants who taking it in Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada test centres due to political unrest in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates scheduled to test in Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada and choose later dates in the same city or reschedule their CAT 2013 exam in other locations like Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai and Kokalta.

The statement issued by Prometric late Friday night states that, Due to political unrest in Andhra Pradesh and in the interest of protecting the safety of all CAT candidates, Prometric is contacting candidates scheduled to test in Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada and rescheduling their appointments to later dates in the same city as their original appointments, or providing a wide set of locations for rescheduling including Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai and Kolkata. Candidates are asked to login to their CAT profiles, print their latest Admit cards, and bring their revised schedules on test day.

CAT 2013 Aspirants who have booked their slots in the test centres of Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada are advised to login to their CAT profile and choose a later date in the same city or rescheduling it for other test centres including Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai and Kolkata.

CAT 2013 will be held in a 20 days window across India starting October 16.
