As far as the placements in the leading B Schools of Mumbai are concerned, SPJIMR leads the list with a median salary of Rs 15.95 lakhs for the batch of 2011-13 while JBIMS follows it with an Median salary of Rs 14 lakhs. The average salary of majority of the leading B schools of Mumbai ranges between 13- 15 lakhs.
Among the leading B schools of Pune SIBM tops the list with an median salary of Rs 10.52 lakhs while both ISB&M and National Insurance Academy School Of Management getting an median salary of Rs 6.5 lakhs each.

Fee Structure
The fee structure is always one of the main criteria which are taken up by an aspirant when he thinks about taking admission in any institute. Keeping that in mind we bring the fee structure of the top ten B-schools of Mumbai and Pune. The lowest , most attractive and affordable fees for a full time MBA programme is offered by JBIMS, University of Mumbai which was Rs 2.1 lakhs for its 2 year full time course for the batch of 2013-15.After that National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) comes up with an attractive fees of Rs. 4.2 lakhs. SPJIMR comes up with the highest fees of Rs 8.8 lakhs followed by NMIMS having 7.2 lakhs as its tuition fees.

As far as the leading B schools of Mumbai are concerned NMIMS and K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research have the biggest size of 88 permanent faculties each while the former has 117 visiting faculties and the later has 29 visiting faculties. JBIMS has only 5 core faculties but 89 visiting faculties. SPJIMR comes up with 51 core faculties and 98 visiting faculties.

NITIE also offers a large number of 274 seats and SPJIMR offers 240 seats while JBIMS offers 120 seats.

Among the B schools of Pune, MIT School of business offers a maximum number of 360 seats followed by ISB&M which offers 240 seats. SIBM offers 209 seats while the lowest number of seats is offered by National Insurance Academy School of Management which offers only 75 seats.

Cut-off Percentile: 2013

Among the leading B schools of Mumbai JBIMS has the highest cut off percentile of 99.86 based on CAT 2012. NITIE comes up with a cut off percentile of 97 based on CAT 2012 while NMIMS has a cut off percentile of 95 based on NMAT. The cut off percentile of most of the leading B schools of Mumbai varies between 95 and 100.

Among the leading B Schools of Pune SIBM has the highest cut off percentile of 91.72 based on SNAP exam. BIMM has a cut off percentile of 90 based on CAT 2012, while the ISB&M has cut off percentiles of 75 and 70 based on CAT 2012 and XAT 2013 respectively.

How to Crack In For 2014

As far as the admissions 2014 are concerned most of the leading B schools of Mumbai take in students based on their CAT scores, JBIMS will accept CMAT score for admission 2014 as per the AICTE guidelines, however the acceptance of CAT 2013 scores is not yet confirmed. SPJIMR admits students based on their CAT and XAT scores while NMIMS admits students based NMAT, an exam conducted by the institute itself.

Most of the leading B schools of Pune take students based on their CAT, XAT and CMAT scores while SIBM accepts admissions on the basis of an SNAP, an exam conducted by the institute only. Even other leading B schools like SCMHRD, SIMC and SICSR also use SNAP scores for admissions.
