IIM Admission 2014: Chance for 85 percentilers to get into an IIM
Candidates seeking admission to IIM Rohtak and hopeful of getting shortlisted on lower cut off ground must also find out their eligibility as per the weightages accorded to academic record, work experience, gender and subject diversity
Common Admission Process meant for six newer IIMs will begin after the declaration of shortlists on January 25, 2014. The short listing procedure for Rohtak is different, and hence the cut-off for Rohtak might vary slightly says Prof Hari Shree Kumar, Chairperson(Admissions) IIM Trichy that will be coordinating the admission process 2014 for all the six new IIMs viz. Kashipur, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Ranchi Rohtak and Udaipur,
It may sound to be a very good news for admission seekers with less than 90 percentile in CAT 2013 as IIM Rohtak in its admission policy 2014 has announced slightly lower threshold cut off at 85 percentile as against other IIMs policy of 96+ percentile for admission 2014 final round. Besides IIM Rohtak has announced to have a batch size of 150-160 students in 2014-16 batch while IIM Trichy proposes to have 110 students.
