IMI New Delhi Final Admission Round 2018: Key components, Weightages; Process to be over on March 18

The Final Selection round for admission to PGDM 2018-20 batch at IMI New Delhi has started on February 7 in 15 cities and will be over on March 18, 2018. The final result for admission to all the PGDM programmes at International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi will be declared in the second week of April, 2018.

The Final Selection round for admission to PGDM 2018-20 batch at IMI New Delhi has started on February 7 in 15 cities and will be over on March 18, 2018. The final result for admission to all the PGDM programmes at International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi will be declared in the second week of April, 2018.
Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, Dr Shailendra Nigam, Admission Chair at IMI New Delhi has informed, The final Result for admission is expected in the second week of April 2018.
IMI New Delhi had announced the shortlist on January 31 for final admission round in a ratio of 1:12 candidates with a CAT 2017 score cut off at 88 percentile for PGDM and 85 for BFS and HRM programmes.

Final Admission round in 15 cities
Final admission round at International Management Institute (IMI) has begun on February 7, 2018 at following 15 cities:
Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Varanasi.
Candidates were given the opportunity to indicate their first and second preference of interview center in the application form. If a candidates preferred center is not allotted, for any reason, the candidate is informed of the change. IMI reserves the right to change any of the centers for the selection process, without assigning any reasons.

Key components and Weightage
The PI round at IMI Delhi will have two major components Essay Writing (Writing Ability Test) & Psychometric Test and Extempore & Personal Interview apart from the weightage awarded to CAT scores. Candidates are required to give their best in each of them to get admission in IMI New Delhi:

Admission offer by IMI
Admission offer from IMI New Delhi will be based on a composite score arrived after the assessment has been made during the various stages of the selection process. The result will be announced through an Admission Portal and will be notified on the IMI, New Delhi Website in the second week of April, 2018. Applicants are advised to check the updates on the website at regular intervals.
The offer letters will thereafter be dispatched, to the mailing address provided in the application form as also by email.Please ensure to provide complete postal address and active email ID which should be valid up to 30th June 2018 for receiving important communications.

Successful candidates, who have been offered admission, will be required to pay the first installment of fee within one week of the date of offer, failing which the offer shall lapse and admission will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list, without any further intimation.

IMI PGDM 2018-20 Fee
For all the three PGDM programmes the course fee for 2018-20 at IMI New Delhi is Rs.15.41 lakhs.

High Placements
IMI New Delhi has witnessed consistent high placement record over the years. IMI wrapped up Placement 2017 in just 3 days. The placement 2017 at IMI New Delhi started on November 28, 2016 and ended on November 30.
More than 80 companies from various sectors showed up for placements 2017 to recruit 247 students at IMI New Delhi. The season saw a hike in the average salary to Rs.12.54 lakhs from Rs.12.40 lakhs last year. Median package shot up to around 12.1 LPA. The mix of sectors gave the students an option for a large variety of profiles and greater spread career choices. Industries ranging from Banking and Financial Services, IT, Consulting to FMCG and Automobiles gave the students the option to make the best use of the opportunity.

Highest number of 22 offers came from ICICI Bank followed by HCL with 21 offers. McKinsey offered salary of Rs. 15.01 lakhs while Fair Trade (International) offered even higher salary of Rs.15.06 lakhs.
