KMAT Kerala 2024: Exam Dates, Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern

Conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, the KMAT Kerala is the State level MBA entrance exam for MBA Admission in top Kerala Govt colleges. Many private MBA colleges also accept Kerala KMAT exam score. Kerala KMAT offers admission opportunity in low fee MBA programs. All the Indian Nationals with requisite qualification can apply and appear in KMAT exam. Kerala KMAT is a low difficulty exam and is a computer based test of 3 hours duration with 180 questions divided in 4 sections. The exam is conducted twice in a year in the months of February/March and June.

KMAT Kerala Pattern is computer based of 3 hours duration. Language of the questions in KMAT Kerala Exam pattern is English. KMAT Kerala pattern consists of 4 sections in the exam. Total number of questions in Kerala KMAT question paper are 180. Each correct answer is awarded with +4 marks and each wrong answer is penalized with negative marking of -1 mark in KMAT Kerala Pattern. KMAT Kerala 2024 Answer Key is released 2-3 days after the exam date.

KMAT Kerala Syllabus for 2024 exam is based on the fundamentals 10 + 2 curriculum on the subjects - English language usage and reading comprehension, Quantitative aptitude, Data sufficiency and Logical reasoning, General Knowledge. Kerala KMAT Syllabus 2024 subject wise in detail is shared below:

KMAT Kerala eligibility criteria 2024 require following qualifications from the applicants:

(1) Nationality & Domicile in KMAT Kerala Eligibility

• Indians and Non-Indians are eligible to apply
• Only Keralite candidates are eligible for all type of reservations and fee concession

(2) Educational Qualification in KMAT Kerala Eligibility

• Candidate should have completed the Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration in the field of Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management and equivalent to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the exam
• Minimum marks –Candidates should have attained the minimum marks as stipulated for admission to MBA course by the respective universities to which the candidate wishes to apply
• Candidates who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply, provided their results are declared before the commencement of the admission process for the KMAT Kerala.

(3) Age Limit in Kerala KMAT Eligibility

There is no age limit to apply and appear in KMAT Kerala exam.

All candidates applying for Kerala KMAT 2024 should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Five steps process for applying online are as below. Candidates are advised to keep a soft copy or printout of the application for future reference.

• Step-1: For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “KMAT 2024 - Online Application”.
• Step-2: Registration: This is a onetime online process during which the candidates will get a system generated ‘Application Number’. The candidates should give necessary basic data and create a strong password during the registration process. The application number and password will be required till the end of the admission process.
• Step-3: Fill Application: All the basic information required for processing your application are to be filled in at this stage. Before filling the details, candidates are required to read the Information Bulletin. The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for examination. It is obligatory that the candidate fill all the mandatory fields in the application. No modification will be possible after the Final submission.
• Step-4: Pay Application Fee: Application fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs.1000. In the case of SC/ST the fee is Rs.750
• Step-5: Applications can be submitted in online mode only. Two payment methods are available for remitting the application fee - Online Payment and e-Challan

8.1 Documents required for KMAT Kerala 2024 registration
Following are the important documents required for KMAT Kerala 2024 Registration Process

• Computer/Laptop with faster connectivity
• Online payment instruments like Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards to make payment of Rs.1000 for KMAT Kerala Application Fee 2024
• Marks sheets/certificates from class 10 onwards to fill in academics in Application form
• Scanned Image of Your Latest Passport size Photograph with light coloured background in jpeg format between 15 kb to 100 kb of size and resolution 150 x 200 pixels to be uploaded
• Scanned Image of your Signature in black/blue ink taken on a plain white sheet. Signature to be cropped in jpg (jpeg) format of 150 pixels width and 100 pixels height and the File size should be between 4 kb and 100 kb.
• Take a print of your submitted Kerala KMAT 2024 application form

8.2 KMAT Kerala 2024 Admit Card
KMAT Kerala 2024 Admit Card is released separately for session 1 (March exam) and session 2 (June exam). The Kerala KMAT 2024 Admit Card for the Entrance Examination can be downloaded from the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Admit Card will not be sent by post from this office.

8.3 KMAT Kerala 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
Following are the important KMAT Kerala 2024 Exam Day Guidelines:

• Arrive at the Exam centre at the reporting time
• Carry hard copy of your KMAT Kerala 2024 Admit card
• Carry your original photo ID proof

KMAT Kerala 2024 Admission process after declaration of KMAT Kerala Exam result requires the candidate to adhere to following:

• Check KMAT Kerala 2024 answer key which is released after the exam
• Check KMAT Kerala 2024 Results which are released after a week from the date of release of Kerala KMAT answer keys
• Download your KMAT Kerala score card from official KMAT exam website by login with your Kerala KMAT registration Id and password which is your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format
• Check KMAT Kerala 2024 cut off for the respective category.
• Take print out of your KMAT Kerala Score card and approach your preferred university/MBA college in Kerala for admission
• Participate in the KMAT Kerala 2024 Counselling process comprising GD-PI for final selection
• After getting admission offer, pay admission fee
