1. What is IIM Kozhikode BMS Program 2025? 
Recognized as one of the top B-schools in India, IIM Kozhikode was the fifth IIM to be established in 1996 by the Government of India. IIMK is known as a pioneer for its initiatives in gender diversity and executive education areas.  

IIM Kozhikode BMS Program 2025 is a Four Years, Eight Semester Programme with Honours and Research track. It is planned to open up Multiple Career paths for its students including traditional executive roles, start-up, higher studies and PhD. IIM Kozhikode BMS Program is offered at IIMK’s satellite campus in Kochi.  

2. What is the program structure of IIM Kozhikode BMS Program 2025?
IIM Kozhikode BMS Program is a Four Year Eight Semester programme that offers a Major in Management and options to pursue minor in multiple areas like Economics and Public Policy, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Finance and Big Data, Liberal Studies in Management , Marketing , Sales and Digital Promotion etc. 

IIM Kozhikode BMS Program will be organized in semesters of minimum 15 weeks each. In a year, there will be two semesters. The odd/fall semester (Semesters 1, 3 , 5 and 7) will commence in September and continue till December. After a brief semester break, the Even /Spring semester (Semesters 2, 4, 6, and 8) will begin in January and continue till April. The summer break will be from May to August every year. The students may opt for internships in organisations, research projects with faculty or pursue extra credits by taking up courses offered in summer terms.

The courses will be divided into three types of courses: 

• Foundation Courses: Foundation courses will include Economics, Quantitative Methods, English, accounting, computer science, psychology, sociology, law etc. 
• Core Courses: These pertain to the major area of study which is Management Studies. Students will be expected to complete the equivalent of 80 credits instruction in this area (20-24 courses) in various subjects like Finance, Accounting, Organisational behaviour, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Strategy, Operations Management, Supply Chain management etc. IIM Kozhikode says that “the depth of coverage will exceed the typical curriculum up to the first year of a two-year MBA programme and students will be equipped to take up most entry level roles in business/management.”
• Elective Courses: The elective courses correspond to areas of specialization corresponding to the areas of minor chosen by the students, A student must choose at least one minor area. Each minor area should have at least 40 credits (10-12 courses).

3. What is IIM Kozhikode BMS Eligibility? 

• Candidates must have successfully completed the Class XII examination or hold a diploma post Ten years of schooling from any stream recognized by the relevant boards of the Government of India.
• Candidates must be able to produce originals of mark sheets/certificates on or before 1st August 2025 to be eligible for admission.

4. What is admission process for IIM Kozhikode BMS Program?
IIM Kozhikode BMS Admission 2025 will be based on the prior academic record of the candidates, scores obtained in the entrance test and personal interview. Check complete details below. 

a) IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 
Applicants are required to appear for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025, which comprises two sections assessing the applicant's aptitude in Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability. The test will adhere to a multiple-choice format and will be administered at designated centers. It will be conducted as a computer-based examination.

b) Candidates with JEE/SAT/ACT Scores Exempted from Test
Candidates who have valid JEE (Mains) scores or valid SAT or ACT scores are exempted from appearing for the IIMK-BMS AT. Such candidates will be short listed based on their standardised test scores reported.  Applicants must ensure that official test results are submitted at the time of application. 

c) Shortlisting for Personal Interview
From the eligible candidates, a shortlist of candidates in each category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on the test score performance and the academic performance in Class XII /Diploma or equivalent and marks obtained in Class X.

d) Personal Interview
The short-listed candidates must appear for a Personal Interview (PI). IIM Kozhikode will conduct the personal interviews in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, and New Delhi. 

e) Final Selection
After the Personal Interview (PI), a final score will be calculated based on the scores assigned in the interview, standardized scores from the entrance test and academic performance in the preceding exams as reported by the candidate. A merit list will be created for each category using the final scores. Admission offers will be given to candidates based on the merit list, following the Government of India reservation norms.

IIM Kozhikode will follow the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).

5. What is IIM Kozhikode BMS Fees Structure?
IIM Kozhikode BMS Program Fee Structure is given below. The fee payable will be INR 7,00,000 /year for the programme. The fee is payable at the beginning of each year. This fee will include tuition fee, course material fee and other administrative and academic components. Any other expenses must be borne by the students.

• Costs if any incurred for international exchange visits, study tours, industry visits, projects and internships are to be met separately.
• Hostel and mess fees are extra.
