- 7.1 A Bachelor’s degree of 4 years duration, or a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
- 7.2 The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of 4 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- 7.3 Applicants appearing for final year of the degree and those who have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results can also apply. The applicant should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available.
- 7.4 CA/ICWA, with a first-class Bachelor’s degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10.

12. IIT Bombay MBA Admission 2024: Step by Step Process
Following steps are included in the SJMSOM-IIT Bombay Admission process:
- Step 1: The candidate must have applied, appeared and scored the minimum required sectional and overall percentile in CAT 2023 to be considered for first stage screening process for admission at SJMSOM-IIT Bombay
- Step 2: Candidate must have applied for MBA Admission 2024 at SJMSOM-IIT Bombay by the last date to apply
- Step 3: Candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT-2023 score, who have applied for admission to SJMSOM-IIT Bombay and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the IIT Bombay MBA Program
- Step 4: The PI Round is conducted in March 2024 first week for domestic candidates. For International candidates the PI will held thereafter. After the PI round, admission offers are made by SJMSOM-IIT Bombay to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in PI, academics, extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others
