2. IIM Lucknow Admission 2026
IIM Lucknow admission process for (PGP) is through CAT. The admission of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Lucknow is a two-step process:
In the first step, candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) round from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. 

Detailed Admission process is as below:

• The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for PI round which is conducted in many cities  
• Candidates are shortlisted from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme   
• After the PI round, IIM Lucknow will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Lucknow to successful candidates. 
• The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in Personal Interview and WAT round, academics, diversity, work experience among others

3. IIM Lucknow Eligibility Criteria for Admission 2026
For Admission 2026, IIM Lucknow has outlined specific eligibility requirements that all applicants must meet. These include minimum academic qualifications, CAT 2025 performance, and documentation timelines for final-year candidates as given below.

• A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum requirement is 45%.
• The candidate must appear for the CAT 2025 examination and secure the minimum prescribed sectional and overall percentile cut-offs to be eligible for shortlisting.
• If grades/CGPA are awarded instead of marks, the conversion to percentage will follow the equivalence certified by the respective institution/university. In case no such conversion scheme exists, IIM Lucknow will establish equivalence by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result by 100.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of their bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination, or those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results, are also eligible to apply for IIM Lucknow Admission 2026. Such candidates must submit a certificate from the principal/head of department/registrar/director of their institution/university confirming their status and that they have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) based on the latest available grades/marks.
• Candidates provisionally admitted must submit, by June 30, 2026, a certificate from the principal/head of department/registrar/director of their institution/university (issued on or before June 30, 2026) confirming that all requirements for the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification have been completed (though results may still be awaited).
• Final year students granted provisional admission must submit their final mark-sheet and degree certificate for the qualifying examination held on or before June 30, 2026. The deadline for submission of these documents is December 31, 2026.

IIM Lucknow CAT Cut off for Shortlisting Process for MBA Program 
As per the IIM Lucknow Admission Policy 2026, candidates are required to meet minimum sectional and overall percentile cut-offs in CAT 2025 to qualify for the shortlisting process of the MBA program. For the General category, the cut-off is set at 85 percentile in each section and 90 overall. Check details in table below. These cut-offs form the first stage of eligibility for consideration in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) process.

6. IIM Lucknow Admission 2025 Final Admission Offer:
Merit List is prepared for IIM Lucknow admission 2026 based on CAT score, PI score, work experience and Profile score. A candidate’s final score for selection in MBA/MBA-ABM/MBA-SM program will be calculated on the basis of the assigned weights as under:
