Malay Ray, popularly known as Malay Sir, is a senior corporate executive working in a leading global insurance company with 25 years of experience. He is an engineer and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. In an interview with MBAUniverse.com, Malay Ray said: “In 2023, the final admissions of my students were: 30 in IIM Ahmedabad, 42 in IIM Bangalore, 60 in IIM Calcutta, 85 in IIM Lucknow, 33 in FMS Delhi, to name a few. I enrol only about 200 students every year. I do not prepare my students for personal interviews for IIMs. I shape them to be better individuals. Interview clearance then becomes automatic." Malay Ray's coaching program is delivered online. Malay Ray informed us, "Since Covid years, I’ve started online, and I now have students from across the country and abroad. The cost of the program is about Rs 15,000." Malay Ray will be enrolling about 300 students for GDPI Classes 2024.
