AIMA has extended the last date to apply for May MAT 2018 Paper Based and Computer Based exams. Announcing the extension in MAT 2018 online registration and application dates, AIMA has re-scheduled the May MAT 2018 exam application dates as below:

Different Dates for MAT PBT and CBT exam
MAT 2018 May exam is to be held on Sunday May 6, 2018 as paper based test in a single session from 10AM to 12.30PM at more than 50 test cities in India. The computer based MAT exam will be held on May 20, 2018 onwards in multiple sessions in around 12 test cities depending upon the number of candidates opting for the particular test centre.

Last Chance to get MBA Admission through MAT
Extension in the last date of MAT 2018 registration and application offers the last opportunity to get MBA admission in the academic session 2018-19 through the national level MBA entrance exam. There are around 300 MBA colleges who will accept May MAT 2018 exam scores for admission to MBA 2018-20 batch. These MBA colleges listed by AIMA are spread all over India in the cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Cochin, J&K, Jaipur among other cities.

Accordingly you can register and apply to appear in May MAT 2018 exam till May 2 for PBT and till May 12 for CBT exam. Please note that registration process is online only and MAT offline registration process has been discontinued by AIMA.
Facility for New and already Registered Candidates
The extended last date for online MAT registration will benefit the fresh candidates as well as already logged in candidates to complete the process. While new candidates can register and apply now, the already registered candidates who could not make payment of MAT 2018 registration fee or could not complete the MAT 2018 May exam application process can do it now.

There is no change in the MAT registration, application or exam fee after the extension in last date to apply for MAT exam. It remains the same. You can apply for Paper based or computer based MAT exam or for both MAT exams. The Fee details in both the cases are as below:

Specific Guidelines for MAT online Registration
Announcing the extended date for Online MAT registration, AIMA has also issued specific guidelines to complete MAT online registration 2018 process. The Step by Step process to complete the MAT Registration and Application is given as under:

Step-1: Create login
New candidates applying for MAT 2018 May exam need to visit AIMA MAT website and click on New Candidate to Create Log in.
You have to fill the details to create Login. You must have a valid email ID for applying online. Press the button Submit. Once you fill the information in the form, it will not be changed.
The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email as entered in the form. Please note that the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

Step 2: Fill the MAT Application form
Once you receive the registration number, you need to login as already registered candidate. You should now login with the registered id, complete the on-line application form, upload the scanned photograph and signature and make payment.

Step 3: Upload Images

Ensurethatbothearsarevisibleinthepicture.Caps,hatsanddarkglassesarenotacceptable.Religiousheadwearisallowedbutitmustnotcoveryourface.
Theimageshouldonlybein.jpgor.jpegformat.Sizeoffileshouldbenotbemorethan75kbandnotlessthan20kb.

Ensurethatthesizeofthescannedimageisnotmorethan50kb.
ThissignaturewouldappearontheAdmitCard,andifitdoesnotmatchthesignatureontheanswersheetatthe timeofthewrittentestandatthetimeofInterview,thecandidaturewillbecancelled.
The image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format and size should also not exceed 50KB and should not be less than 5KB

Step 4: Make payment
Payment of Application fee can be made through online Mode only. Accordingly, to make payment of MAT 2018 May exam application fee for Rs.1550/- or Rs.2650/- (As may be the case) you should keep your Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking in operation condition.
Please note once payment of application fee is made, you will not be allowed to change/modify any information in the application form.

Step 5: View Application summary
Your application is complete now. You can view the application details by clicking the button View Application and can take print out of the

Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)
Personal details
Educational qualification details
Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking details in case making online payment.

MAT 2018 May exam is a national level entrance test for admission to MBA/PGDM institutes where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. The test is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association). There are 4 MAT tests in a year viz February, May, September and December. The score of May MAT 2018 exam serve as the last opportunity for MBA admission in the academic year 2018-19 as the next MAT will be conducted in September 2018 and its scores will be used for admission in 2019.
