After the declaration of CAT 2013 and XAT 2014 results it is now time for you to gear up for the next phase which is GD PI WAT round of leading B schools of your choice. This MBAUniverse.com article will inform you about the admission process in one of the leading B Schools of Chennai, Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA). The cut off for Admission 2014 in LIBA will be decided only after February 8, 2014, informed Professor S Rajeshwar, Chairperson, Admissions, LIBA while speaking to MBAUniverse.com. However as per the previous years records, thecutoffs for CAT and XAT were 86 percentileand 80 percentile respectively with sectional cut offs -78.81 in Verbal Ability, 50.36 in Quantitative Ability, 53.51 inReasoning & Decision Making Ability. The last date to apply online for taking admission in LIBA, Chennai isFebruary 01, 2014.

Successful CAT and XAT candidates having more than 80 percentiles stand a fair chance to be called for the GD PI WAT round for LIBAs 2 year PGDM programme to be held from last week of February till March 24, 2014. The last date for the receipt of registration fee is February 8, 2014.

LIBA Chennai: Exam Scores accepted

For admissions to its 2 year full time PGDM course, LIBA accepts CAT and XAT scores only.

LIBA Chennai Admission 2014 Criteria and Process

Eligibility

The prospective candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university in India (AIU) with a first class or a minimum average of 60% in Standards X, XII and on graduation. Those appearing for their final examinations can also apply provided they produce their course completion certificate by the date specified in the Admissions Brochure.

Selection process

Candidates who have applied to LIBA will be short listed only on the basis of their XAT 2014 / CAT 2013 scores. Short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and interview for final selection to be held from last week of February till March 24, 2014 at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates can give their choice of Interview centre; however it is subject to discretion of LIBA.

Placements:

According to MBAUniverse.com B School Ranking 2013-14, LIBA got an average placement of Rs 8 lakhs in the placement session 2013.
