CAT 2015: Registration extended to Sep 25: 5 day long extension creates history

Registration and application last date for CAT 2015 has been extended for 5 more days by IIM Ahmedabad till Sep 25, from earlier Sep 20, 2015. Announcing the extension in CAT 2015 Registration date CAT Centre 2015 clarifies The form date is extended upto 25th Sept 2015. Candidates can register and make the payment till 25th Sept 2015. The extended time of registration would also be till 11.59PM on Sep 25, 2015.

The registration process for CAT 2015 was opened on Aug 6, 2015 at 10AM and the last date to register was Sept 20, 2015 till 11.59 PM. However, IIM Ahmedabad the CAT 2015 convening IIM has announced an extension of 5 days for the first time in the registration process till September 25, 2015 thus creating history in CAT examination.

It was earlier informed on Saturday Sep 19, 2015 by the CAT 2015 convener that the registration date would be extended for a few days and the announcement to this effect would be made today. The CAT 2015 aspirants were immediately informed of the breaking development by MBAUniverse.com

It appears that the kind gesture of CAT 2015 convening IIM Ahmedabad comes in the wake of heavy rush of CAT 2015 aspirants during the last week preceding the earlier announced registration last date Sep 20, 2015 and due to the grievances from thousands of prospective CAT 2015 takers for not being able to register and apply on-line in time might have caused the extension of few days in CAT 2015 registration date.

CAT 2015 aspirants who couldnt complete their registration process till September 20, 2015 due to one or other problem will now have another opportunity to complete the registration process for CAT 2015 till September 25, 2015.
