CAT 2015: Admit Card available from tomorrow; ensure your correct details

IIM Ahmedabad the CAT 2015 conducting IIM has confirmed Admit Card for CAT 2015 will be available from 25th Oct 2015, 1 PM till exam day. Earlier the CAT 2015 Admit card was supposed to be made available from October 15, 2015 but a delay of 10 days has occurred due to unavoidable circumstances.

With this perception and confirmation CAT 2015 aspirants may hope to get their admit cards from 13 hours on October 25, 2015.

Another important part is that CAT 2015 is going to be conducted at 650 testing sites in 136 cities on November 29, 2015. Candidates were allowed to make a choice of 4 preferred test cities to take the exam. But CAT Centre 2015 had announced IIMs reserve the right to change or cancel any test venue /centre and/or change the test time and date at their own discretion

Accordingly, you should confirm from the CAT 2015 list of test cities that none of your 4 preferred test cities have been cancelled due to which instead of top choice you are awarded the last choice.

Which Id to Use; understand & be clear According to CAT Centre 2015 Admit card will be available for view and print and further adds You will have to log onto the CAT website with your registered User ID. There are 2 ids now available with you. One is your mail ID and the other is your CAT 2015 ID & password specially supplied by CAT Centre 2015 to enable you to login to CAT 2015 website.

You are supposed to login to CAT 2015 site as existing user with your CAT 2015 id and password and not with your mail id to get access to your CAT 2015 admit card.

Be ready to view, download and take print Once you are able to successfully logon to CAT 2015 site and can view your Admit Card it, get satisfied that all the information contained in it is correct. Then download and save it in a folder. It will be better to take more than 2-3 prints of your CAT 2015 admit card. Keep one with your other documents which you will have to carry to the exam centre and other with you so that in case of any query you may instantly refer to it.

No entry without Admit Card According to CAT Centre 2015, Admit Card is a mandatory document required to take the exam. You must bring a print out of your Admit Card to the exam centre. Please remember without Admit Card entry to test centre will not be permitted and an aspirant has to ensure to carry the print out of his CAT 2015 Admit Card with him

10 days delay: wait is painful Number of aspirants have been raising the query regarding the timely issue of admit card. CAT Centre 2015 has not provided such facility to know beforehand which one out of 4 preferred test cities has been allotted to you to take CAT 2015 on November 29, 2015, nor does it have any means to know whether you have been allotted the morning or afternoon session on the D-day.

Admit card, only after successful application submission As per CAT 2015 You will be eligible for an Admit Card only upon submission of online application form. You will receive an automated email confirmation upon successful submission. Please make sure whether you received the mail confirmation regarding the same. In case it didnt happen you wouldnt receive the CAT 2015Admit Card.

The Admit Card will need to be directly printed from the CAT 2015 website using your User ID and Password. The admit card will not be sent to your postal address. If you are unable to view your Admit Card, you shall have to refer and report to the CAT 2015 help desk.

Dont wait for hard copy IIM Ahmedabad has clarified The admit card will be only available on the CAT Website when you log on using your CAT 2015 User ID. No hard copy of CAT 2015 Admit card will be sent to you.

It is very much possible that other remaining components of CAT 2015 exam like Test day guide, Test day Video and CAT 2015 practice test are also made live by IIM Ahmedabad along with the CAT 2015 Admit card. You may make up your mind for them as well.
