IMT Ghaziabad appoints Dr Ravikesh Srivastava as Dean Academics

IMT Ghaziabad one of Indias highly ranked management schools has announced the appointment of Dr Ravikesh Srivastava as the new Dean Academics of the institute. Dr Srivastava has joined the institute on Friday, July 1.
Dr R K Srivastava brings to IMT Ghaziabad over 27 years of teaching, research and institution building experience. He has previously worked at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, FORE School of Management, Delhi and S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai and has held leadership positions. His last assignment was at SPJIMR, Mumbai as Professor and Head, International Accreditation.

Dr Srivastava holds a PhD in Production Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). He was also a UGC Senior Research Fellow. Dr Srivastava has widely published in leading national and international research journals and has co-authored a book titled Managerial Economics Principles and Worldwide Application published by Oxford University Press in 2008.

Commenting on his new role, Dr Srivastava said The focus of the management education is changing in the global perspective. Today, for any leading management institute, the clear cut focus areas should be Engagement, Innovation and Impact. If we can ensure an active engagement of all the stakeholders students, faculty, staff, and alumni for the growth of the institute and the engagement is supported with innovation continuously, I am sure it will lead to an Impact and the institute will achieve a level that every stakeholder will be proud of.
