SPJIMR Mumbai has lowest fee as compared to IIMs, MDI, XLRI and other top B-schools. The two year fee of the PGDM batch 2016-18 programme was Rs.14.60 lakhs. Choice of 2 specialization at application stage
Applicants to PGDM admission 2017-19 batch at SPJIMR need to opt for two specializations at the time of submitting application. Selecting 2 options at the application stage means that the aspirants who are not short listed for the first option will be considered for the second option. The outcome of the first option will have no bearing on the process for considering the applicant for the second option.

High International Exposure
SPJIMR students have the option of undertaking foreign field visits that are facilitated by SPJIMR, after completion of the 18-month programme. In the past, students have visited countries including South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Bangkok as part of the FIV tours.
SPJIMR faculty have been invited speakers at prestigious international conferences and have taught courses at international business schools. SPJIMR Dean Dr Ranjan Banerjee was asked to conduct a workshop on change management for deans and associate deans of US business schools at the GMAC conference in Florida. Not only was the workshop well received, but it was also probably an unusual instance of an Indian B-school leader being given this recognition.
All the SPJIMR full time course students do a month of advanced specialization courses at top universities in the US like Cornell, CMU. A student project guided by SPJIMR faculty won the best project prize in the Global Network of Microeconomics of Competitiveness , and one of the senior faculty received the prize from Michael Porter at HBS.

The selection process for admission to PGDM 2017-19 batch will assess not only the intellectual readiness in terms of academics but also emotional readiness, work experience, extracurricular activities and aptitude for and befitting the institutes mission of value based leadership. Prof Kulkarni added further we will declare shortlists based on profile and profile cum score. The applicants who are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams.
Responding to the query on expected CAT 2016 score cut off and importance of CAT 2016 scores in PGDM 2017-19 admission process at SPJIMR, Prof Bindu Kulkarni, Head Admissions at SPJIMR said The minimum qualifying score for CAT is of 85 (overall) and 75 (sectional). This to enable applicants from all educational backgrounds to be able to compete equally with Engineers who may have an advantage due to their structured study during graduation.
