Breaking News: IIM Kozhikode to release CAT 2019 Result on January 4, get ready to download Score Card

Here is the news for the 209,926 candidates, who took CAT 2019 and are eagerly waiting for. CAT 2019 Exam Result is expected to be released ahead of its schedule! MBAUniverse.com has learnt from reliable sources that CAT Result 2019 would be released on January 4, 2020, much ahead of the officially announced date i.e. second week of January. IIM Kozhikode, the Convening IIM for CAT 2019, is expected to release results and send SMS notification to candidates tomorrow i.e. January 4.

IIM Kozhikode Director Prof Debashis Chatterjee and Prof Shubhasis Dey, Convener of CAT Exam 2019, deserve credit for conducting CAT 2019 exam successfully on November 24, 2019, and increasing the number of test-takers. CAT 2019 had reported the largest number of test takers (209,926 candidates) in last five years and highest percentage of test takers during last five years. Also, CAT 2019 was held in 156 test cities which is the highest number of test cities in the history of CAT.

IIMs to start Shortlisting Process immediately
With the early declaration of CAT 2019 result, candidates who appeared in CAT 2019 exam will be able to know whether they are shortlisted by one of the top IIMs or the New IIMs. While IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta release their shortlists in a day or two from the date of CAT result declaration, other IIMs announce their shortlists after a few days. Top PGDM B-schools to announce Shortlist
Admission process/applications for following non-IIM PGDM B-schools is currently closed:

1. SPJIMR Mumbai 2. MDI Gurgaon 3. IMT Ghaziabad, 4. IMI New Delhi 5. FORE School of Management New Delhi   

Based on past year’s Admission trends, SPJIMR and MDI will not reopen their application process. However, IMT, IMI, FORE are expected to reopen their Applications for a few days immediately after CAT results are announced.
