IBA Bangalore Organizes TEDx 2019

Indus Business Academy (IBA) Bangalore, one of the leading Management Institutes in Bangalore is organizing TEDx 2019 on January 19, 2019 at its campus on the theme ‘Impact on Society’. TEDx IBA Bangalore is one of a kind event to be organized by the IBA family. The mission is to inspire minds and spark deep discussions and introspections among people at large. According to IBA Bangalore, “We seek to bring forth the stage that TEDx offers us through a group of individuals who have succeeded in life in a manner which is dynamic, something that is common with the values that IBA Bangalore shares. TEDx IBA Bangalore seeks to identify ingenious minds across the globe and bring them all under one roof for a daylong event, because we believe that the baton of success best reaches its destiny when shared and passed amongst equally ignited and bright people.”

The theme for this event is ‘Impact on Society’. It implies that We are the society. It is comprised of us, made by us, shaped by us and gets impacted by us. But, we all sometime or the other have been negligent about this fact and become too individualistic in our approach. We must never forget that just as a chain is formed out of several links, numerous individuals form a society. Every individual act will have an impact on the rest of the individuals and the society, no matter how small or big and no matter positive or negative. Just like the ripple effect, where even a tiny drop of water causes ripples expanding across the water; smallest of the acts impact throughout the society incrementally. TEDx 2019 aims to explore this time at TEDX IBA Bangalore how all of us, even as an individual, can better the society we live in and create an everlasting Impact on Society.

Sharing of ideas that will help shape our Society. We are advancing very fast, progressing day and night by leaps and bounds. But have we tried to ensure it as a sustainable one? Have we thought that maybe it wasn't setting the right example for the people following? How can the story reach right audiences for a more compounded impact in the society? The best way to share such thought provoking ideas is a platform which aims to spread these for making a difference. TEDx IBA Bangalore is one such initiative under the TED umbrella which believes that for a brighter future, advancement & progression with a sustainable approach has to reach the masses.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED like experience. Eminent speakers from diverse fields are to participate in the event. In our quest for advancement we have come a long way far from laying the foundation of a better future. So what needs to be done and what can be done that is sustainable, responsible and inspires a brighter future will be shared at TEDx.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, Ideas Worth Spreading. The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
