IRMA Anand will use different CAT/XAT cut offs for shortlisting the candidates for final selection round for admission 2019. There are two shortlisting cut offs based on profile and profile cum merit for admission to PGDRM 2019-21 batch. Application process for admission 2019 at IRMA is open till January 21, 2019. The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) will apply two different CAT 2018 and XAT 2019 cut offs for shortlisting the candidates for final selection round. IRMA cut offs for Merit based shortlisting process are lower than the cut offs for profile based shortlisting. IRMA, a pioneering academic institution in rural management education and research will close its online application for admission to PGDRM 2019-21 batch on January 21, 2019. IRMA Anand has extended the last date to apply for admission 2019 till January 21, 2019. Application should be submitted online with an application fee of Rs.1500/-

IRMA PGDRM 2019-21 Fees

  • The total programme fee payable by PGDRM students at IRMA is Rs 12,10,000/-
  • Laptop computer, personal expenses on boarding, travel, clothes and laundry are extra.
  • The total programme fees for the 2019-2021 batch may increase after making adjustment for inflations.

IRMA Cut Offs in Shortlisting
This year the admission criteria for PGDRM 2019-21 batch at IRMA has been changed as the shortlisting for final selection round will be based either on profile or on the CAT/XAT score, and only the shortlisted candidates will be able to appear in IRMASAT and GD-PI

Accordingly, IRMA cut offs for Admission 2019 differ for both the rounds. The shortlisting cut offs  based on profile and cut offs for Merit based exam score are different. Besides, IRMA has shifted its mandatory IRMASAT to final selection round instead of pre-requiste for shortlisting.

IRMA CAT and XAT Cut offs  
IRMA gives higher emphasis on other quality parameters in its admission process. Accordingly, the B-school has not pegged the CAT, XAT score cut off very high. The candidates above the minimum cut-offs in the CAT 2018/XAT 2019 will be considered for final admission round

Profile Based Shortlisting: Cut off 80 Percentile

The applicants who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GD/PI process. However these candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles should also meet a minimum qualifying score in the entrance exam. Candidates who fulfill the following criteria can be shortlisted for profile based calls:

  • Graduation in Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology
  •  Work experience in Development Sector, Dairy, Public Policy
  • Excellence in Academics with graduation from Top universities and Colleges
  • Candidates

Merit Based Shortlisting: Cut off 85 Percentile
Applicants are also shortlisted separately with Non-Profile based Criteria for IRMASAT and GD-PI round: 

  • Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Non-Profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GD/PI process.
  • Both IRMASAT 2019 and GD/PI process will be conducted at IRMA for shortlisted candidates
  • Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for short listing for next stage of Admissions process

Final Selection by IRMA
The final admission round at IRMA consists of three components:

  • IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 (IRMASAT 2019),
  • Group Activity (GA)
  • Personal Interview (PI)

All the shortlisted candidates will have to go through the Final selection round for admission to IRMA, Anand. These Short listed candidates will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 (IRMASAT 2019), Group Activity and Personal Interview.

The admission process will be held at IRMA Campus. The final admission offer is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test cut off scores (CAT 2018/XAT 2019), Work experience (If any), Performance in IRMASAT,  Performance in Group Activity and Personal Interview.

No IRMASAT Before Shortlisting
Shortlisting of candidates will not be based on IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 (IRMASAT 2019). Only shortlisted candidates will be called to appear in IRMASAT 2019 during final selection round. In shortlisting IRMA will use CAT 2018 and XAT 2019 cut offs to shortlist the candidates 

Maintaining its 100 percent placements' record since its inception in 1979, the current batch of 180 students at IRMA was placed in three days' time. The average salary offered increased to Rs. 11.39 lakh per annum in Placement 2018 as against Rs. 10.22 lakh last year. The maximum salary for the batch stands at Rs. 46.50 lakh and the lowest salary at Rs. 3.5 lakh was offered by a grassroots NGO to one of the graduates who chose to follow his dream of making a difference in the lives of people.

IRMA Anand is closing its admission 2019 application process on January 21, 2019. The applicants exploring MBA admission to one of the best MBA colleges in India can apply online for admission to IRMA by this date. So far IRMA has not proposed to extend its last date for submission of application.
