Aided by ubiquitous technology and multiple screens, consumers have become habituated to ‘phygital’ world, where they combine ‘physical’ and ‘digital’ options to improve their experience. For example, Amazon Go store, where you pick up what you need and walk out without a physical checkout, is essentially shopping ‘phygitaly’. Businesses have reoriented their business strategies and process for the new order. It’s time academics understands this important development, and incorporates in MBA education and research.
To put a spotlight on this theme, Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) is hosting the ISDSI (International Society for Data Science and Innovation) Global Conference 2022 at its Bengaluru Campus from December 27 to 29, 2022. This conference is hosted in partnership with University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), USA.
