The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year full-time programme spread over six trimesters and a summer internship. The programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized as equivalent to MBA Degree of an India University by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Launched in the year 2008, the PGDM programme is designed on the principle that a proper balance of theory and practice is required for effective decision-making and problem-solving in a globalized environment. The programme aims at the development of a well-rounded person with the right balance of leadership skills and social responsibility. The curriculum which is designed to develop in students a capacity to think, to learn, to innovate and to apply what they learn in real life situations, is kept relevant with the dynamics of the changing business environment.

Rajagiri Business School Kochi PGDM programme structure contains a compulsory set of core courses covering all foundation areas in management that build a holistic general management perspective, and a set of elective courses with a functional and domain thrust aimed at building job specific skills and knowledge in the chosen area of specialization. The programme offers dual specialization and students have the freedom to select the courses of their choice from a wide variety of electives in the second year. Students can also choose from non-credit add-on and certification courses, to suit their individual preferences.
With social sensitivity at its core, the RBS emphasises on experiential learning and holistic development. Case method, simulation and lectures are the major pedagogical tools used at the School. Through its pedagogical innovation, Rajagiri Immersive Learning Experience (RILE), the students are exposed to experiences and activities that prepare them to confront the complex business environment head-on. The focus of RILE is on four dimensions: Conceptual Learning, Experiential Engagement, Executive Modeling and Corporate Competency. The various activities under each of these dimensions help to mould and transform the Rajagirians into professionally competent and socially sensitive individuals
