International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi

IMI New Delhi is led by Dr Himadri Das, Director General of IMI institutes, Professor in Finance and Accounting. Prior to this, he served as Director of Great Lakes Institute of Management Gurgaon and then as Director of MDI Gurgaon. Earlier also, he had served IMI New Delhi for 11 years as Professor of Finance and Information Systems, in addition to taking on a variety of leadership roles out of which five years were as the Dean (Academic Programs). Prior to these academic roles, he has about thirteen years of corporate experience mainly in the IT products and services industry, in the US and India, for software multinationals involved with products for engineering and financial applications. Dr Das has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Luxembourg, Tampere University in Finland, and the Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France. He has a B.Tech. and MBA from IIT Delhi and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, USA.
IMI has got faculty members who are not only qualified in terms of their specialization in various fields but many of them have diverse industry backgrounds as of part of their professional experience apart from academics. This helps IMI to focus on consultancy across industries and cross functional areas of business. IMI faculty are  well recognized for their consultancy in large number of private sector organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Central and state governments, NGOs.
