1. What is MAH CET 2025? Key Exam Highlights

The MAH MBA/MMS CET exam is an important MBA Entrance exam for admission in 350+ MBA colleges of Mumbai, Pune, and rest of Maharashtra. MAH CET is conducted by State CET Cell on behalf of Maharashtra Government for admission to various MBA/MMS courses offered at low fee by MBA colleges in Maharashtra. Both candidates from Maharashtra State (MS) category as well as All India category (Referred to as Outside Maharashtra State or OMS) candidates can apply for exam. A good number of 10,000 MBA seats are reserved in Maharashtra MBA colleges for All India Category candidates. Exam centres are located in 49 cities in India with most of them in Maharashtra. Last year, 1,30,927 students registered for the MAH MBA CET 2024, and 1,12,209 appeared for the exam, resulting in an 85.7% attendance rate. After the exam, admissions to MBA colleges in Maharashtra is offered through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra. Key highlights of the exam are as below:

MAH MBA CET Cut Offs in JBMIMS goes beyond 95%ile for MS category candidates and 98%ile for All India category candidates. There is 15% reservation for All India category candidates in JBIMS. 4. MAH MBA CET Eligibility Criteria 2025

MAH MBA CET eligibility criteria 2025 to register and apply for the exam are:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Graduates with 50% marks in any discipline can apply the exam.
  • Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • 65 to 85 percent MBA seats are for Maharashtra State category candidates. There are 5 categories of candidates who are considered as Maharashtra State candidates. 
  • Apart from Mah. State category candidates, All India category candidates can seek admission in Maharashtra B-schools on the basis of other MBA entrance exams like CAT, CMAT also

5. MAH MBA CET 2025 Registration and Application Process

MAH MBA CET 2025 Registration process is online. The Application Process is likely to begin in January 2025. Registration and application submission is the first step for MBA admission to 1st Year of 2 year full time Post Graduate Degree course in Management (MBA/MMS) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. 

MAH MBA CET Fees 2025 for Registration and Application is Rs.1000/- for Maharashtra State (MS) candidates. For All India Category (OMS) candidates CET Registration Fees is Rs.1200/-.

7. MAH MBA CET Syllabus 2025

MAH CET Syllabus with key changes in the topics for the question paper is released before the exam by DTE Maharashtra State CET Cell. The syllabus is split into four sections of Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The syllabus topics are at par with the syllabus prescribed for other national and state level MBA entrance exams.

Logical Reasoning: LR has 75 questions based on Fact Inference Judgment, Passage Conclusion, Analogy, Statement Argument, Binary Logic, Clocks Calendars, Seating Arrangement, Family Tree, Quantitative Reasoning among others
Abstract Reasoning: This Reasoning section has 25 questions based on Non Verbal Reasoning like series, odd man out, Diagrams, Puzzles

11. MAH MBA CET Admit Card 2025

MAH CET Admit Card is a mandatory document to enter the exam center to take the test. MAH CET Admit Card download is expected to start from March 2025 first week. CET Cell will upload the Admit card on official exam website 2025 exam: cetcell.mahacet.org. Only registered candidates can download the MAH CET exam 2025 Admit card.

  • Enter your Date of Birth in DD-MM-YY format.
  • Insert the verification code 
  • View and Download the Admit Card
  • Save the Admit Card and take print on A4 size paper

Total number of candidates who registered for MAH CET 2024 was 130,927. However, 112,209 candidates actually took the exam, resulting in an 85.7% attendance rate. 15. MAH CET 2025 Exam Day Tips, Documents Required

The MBA CET Exam date is expected in March 2025. Candidates must carry following documents to the examination center:

  1. Printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from CET Cell website.
  2. One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during the Examination. 
  3. Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non- expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No). The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the Admit Card.
  4. If required, PwD certificate/UDID Card issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category. 

16. MAH MBA CET Result 2025

MAH MBA CET result 2025 is expected to be released in the last week of March 2025 or first week of April 2025. You need to download score card from official MAH CET website cetcell.mahacet.org with your login credentials. MBA CET 2025 score card will have your personal details like Name, Address, photograph, Date of Birth, Email ID; exam  registration number, Your category, Gender, Date & Time slot of MAH CET 2025 exam, section-wise MAH CET 2025 exam Overall Score, Section-wise score, percentile score and other details. A: DTE Maharashtra CET Cell is likely to conduct the exam on March 8 and 9, 2025
A: MAH MBA/MMS CET is a computer based test. The exam is conducted at test centres.
