Course Highlights: 

MBA is the flagship program of IIM Mumbai. Launched after getting renamed as IIM Mumbai, by NITIE in 2023, the programme also satiates the need of the industry for cross-functional competence. MBA at IIM Mumbai aims at creating corporate excellence. It is conceptualized with a view to provide students with methodologies and systematic approaches to deal with diverse challenges in business and management. IIM Mumbai recognizes the growing need for qualified and trained professionals to apply managerial techniques to increase productivity and improve the effectiveness of the organization. Students can choose electives of their interest but IIM Mumbai will provide ‘General MBA’ Degree.

Admissions Process
  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories]
  • Students in the final year of above degree can also apply provided they qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared till date and complete their examination, viva voce etc, by the time of joining the Institute.
  • Applicants should take the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in order to apply for the programs.
  • Candidates need to apply separately for IIM Mumbai admission 2024
  • IIM Mumbai application fees is Rs.2000 for Genercal category and Rs.1000 for SC/ST/PwD category
  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT 2023 score and other parameters like reservation category, gender diversity among others
  • After the PI round, Candidates will be selected based on performance in PI round, CAT score, Academics, Work Experience and Diversity
