Karnataka PGCET 2019: Result, Counselling, Merit List

After declaration of Karnataka PGCET 2019 exam result on August 22, 2019, the first part of PGCET counselling process-document verification dates from August 23 to August 30, 2019 for MBA, MCA admission 2019 have been announced by KEA. After completion of the rank wise document verification on August 30, 2019, the centralized PGCET counselling will begin on August 30 with the publication of seat matrix and the opportunity to exercise option entry as per available seats.
The PGCET Exam 2019 was held on July 21, 2019 as paper based test for MBA/MCA admission in the University affiliated colleges of Bangalore and rest of Karnataka. The exam was reported of moderate difficulty level with expected cut off to remain as that of last year. The PGCET Result 2019 is declared by Karnataka Examination Authority after release of PGCET answer keys and after considering the objections raised by the test takers.

The PGCET 2019 exam was postponed by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) by one week. Karnataka PGCET 2019 date was shifted to July 21, 2019 from earlier July 14 for admission to MBA/MCA programmes in top MBA colleges of Bangalore and rest of Karnataka. The complete PGCET 2019 exam schedule was changed. PGCET Admit Card 2019 release date was also postponed to July 11, 2019. Last date to apply online for Karnataka PGCET exam was also extended to June 29 till 5.30 PM.

How to Apply for PGCET 2019
Karnataka PGCET 2019 application process is only “Online”. Online submission of Karnataka PGCET 2019 MBA Application Form may be made by login at KEA PGCET Website. There is no offline facility to fill the application form for PGCET now.
General category candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 650/- towards PGCET registration and application fee.

Although Karnataka PGCET 2019 for MBA admission is of two hours duration from 2.30PM to 4.30PM, the PGCET 2019 test takers have to remain seated for two and half hours.

The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2019 will be conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility/merit, for admission of Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates to 1st year / 1st semester full time / part time MBA as well as MCA / M.E. / M. Tech. / M. Arch courses and for admission to 2nd year Lateral Entry to MCA Course in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka.
Admissions to the MBA programme beginning 2019 for Government seats shall be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application Courses Rules, 2005.
As per the letter from VTU, Belgaum dated 11-08-2016, the qualifying examination (degree) obtained through distance mode would be considered for admission to MBA/MCA courses, provided the awarding University has approval from Distance Education Council (IGNOU), New Delhi.
