KEA is conducting PGCET 2023 exam for MBA Admission 2023 in Karnataka B-schools on September 24, 2023. The exam was postponed from earlier date of September 10, 2023. 2. Karnataka PGCET Paper Pattern 2023: Key Highlights

Karnataka PGCET exam will be held from 2.30PM to 4.30PM. For MCA admission the exam will also be held on the same day from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM. Following are the key features of Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern for MBA:

  • Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern will have paper pen based format
  • PGCET Exam 2023 Pattern reveals that it will be held in single session exclusively for MBA admission.
  • There will be 100 MCQs in PGCET Exam Pattern 2023
  • Maximum Total Marks in the Karnataka PGCET Paper Pattern 2023 will be 100
  • PGCET Exam Pattern 2023 will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration.
  • Each question in PGCET Exam Pattern 2022 will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type
  • The question paper in Karnataka PGCET 2023 Exam Pattern will be in 4 different versions.
  • Each question in Karnataka PGCET will have 4 different answer options.
  • +1 is the maximum mark to be scored for each correct answer in Karnataka PGCET Pattern
  • PGCET Exam Pattern 2023 will NOT have any negative marking for wrong answers
  • No marks will be awarded if more than one answer is indicated against a question on the OMR sheet as per the revised Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern
  • The candidates have to mark the correct answers on the OMR answer sheet using BLUE OR BLACK INK BALL POINT PEN ONLY in the Karnataka PGCET Pattern.
  • After completion of the test, the candidates must affix their LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION in the space provided on the bottom portion of OMR answer sheet before handing over the same to the room invigilator.
  • After completion of the Karnataka PGCET 2023 Exam, the candidates will be allowed to carry replica of the filled OMR answer sheet. Such replicas should be preserved for a period of one year.
  • Announcing the Karnataka PGCET paper pattern 2023, KEA has informed that the Answer Key will be published within three days after the completion of the PGCET Exam 2023 on the KEA website.

3. Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern 2023 for MBA: Test sections

As per the revised PGCET exam pattern, the PGCET question paper will consist of four sections with a total number of 100 questions. PGCET exam pattern 2023 reveals that you need to ensure high score in each of the 4 sections as there is also a sectional score cut off in many MBA colleges for shortlisting.KEA has announced the following sectional composition for PGCET exam 2023 pattern:

4. PGCET 2023 Exam pattern for MCA

The PGCET-2023 for MCA admission will also be held in one session separately from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.

  • The exam will be of maximum 100 marks
  • There will be 80 MCQ type questions divided in two parts – A and B
  • The question paper will be in four different versions
  • Each question will have four different answer options.
  • 60 questions in Part - A will carry one mark each.
  • 20 questions in Part - B carry two marks each.
  • Thus there will be 80 questions and total marks are 100.

5. Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern: Important Guidelines about PGCET 2023

Although Karnataka PGCET exam pattern 2023 for MBA admission is of two hours duration from 2.30PM to 4.30PM, the PGCET 2023 test takers have to remain seated for two and half hours.

  • All the candidates should report at the Karnataka PGCET 2023 Test Venue latest by 1.30PM
  • All the candidates should occupy their designated seats by 2 PM to complete the details on PGCET 2023 exam booklet and on OMR Sheet
  • The PGCET 2023 question paper is in different language versions.
  • Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern consists of uniform marking scheme. Each correct answer in PGCET 2023 pattern is awarded 1 mark but there is no negative marking for wrong answer
  • Karnataka PGCET exam pattern clarifies that the candidate has to choose the correct answer and shade the corresponding small open box provided for that question in the answer sheet with a black ball point pen while attempting the PGCET Questions.
  • The most important thing to remember in Karnataka PGCET exam pattern is that in case more than one box is shaded to answer any question in the OMR sheet, then it will be treated as wrong answer and no marks will be given for that answer even if one of the shaded box indicates correct answer

No individual intimation will be sent to candidates.”
