Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is one of the most popular National level MBA entrance exams in India. MAT is conducted four times in a year in February, May, August and December. MAT Exam Date 2024 is December 7, 14 & 22. More than 500 MBA/PGDM Colleges are accepting MAT 2024 Scores for Admission 2025. MAT is an easier exam than CAT or XAT exam and is of 2 hours duration. The exam has five sections but MAT percentile calculation is based on the scores of four sections, while the score of fifth (Economic & Business Environment) section is separately shown and is not counted for percentile calculation.

MAT 2024 Eligibility requirement is that candidate should have completed minimum 3 Years Bachelor’s Degree or should be in the Final Year of Bachelor’s Degree. There is no age restriction or marks requirement. 

MAT Exam Pattern consists of five sections of 30 questions each. Total exam duration is 120 mins.

6.1 MAT Scoring Pattern
MAT scoring pattern is unique. The score card displays scaled score out of 600 Marks and not out of 150 raw scores. While each correct answer is awarded +1 Mark, each wrong answer is penalized with negative marking of -0.25 mark. Merit Score is calculated on the basis of 4 sections only and the score of Indian & Global Environment is separately shown but is not taken into account to calculate the merit or percentile in the score card.

MAT 2024 Exam Fees is Rs.2,100 for taking any one of the following exams:
•Paper Based Test (PBT)
