Late Registration will remain open till October 16, 2017. The 5 step registration process for NMAT by GMAC can be completed in 10-15 minutes. However the aspirants should ensure that all the details are properly entered and online payment process towards NMAT 2017 registration fee is complete.  

Approximately 70000 aspirants are expected to appear in computer based NMAT by GMAC to be held in 75 days test window from October 5 to December 18, 2017 with the opportunity available with the test taker to maximise the score by making 3 attempts in NMAT 2017 exam.

With the acquisition of NMAT by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the NMAT by GMAC is the only entrance exam for admission to MBA programmes beginning 2018 at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Other participating universities and B-schools will accept other exam scores apart from NMAT 2017 exam scores.  

The candidate aspiring for MBA at NMIMS has to register and complete the application / registration / fees payment process at both the websites - NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University) and NMAT website to be considered for further selection process.

More payment options have been added to pay the NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam fee. This year the candidates will have an additional choice to pay the NMAT 2017 exam fees through UPI (Unified payment Interface) as an additional method to pay for the registration fees along with the credit cards, debit cards, net banking, 12 mobile wallets.

For the benefit of NMAT 2017 aspirants, MBAUniverse.com shares below the step by step registration process for the exam with the advice to avoid any technical issue in regard to making payment of fee.

Step by Step Registration for NMAT 2017
The site to register for the NMAT by GMAC exam lies on the site at www.nmat.org.in

Step-1: New user
Click on “Register Now” on the site at www.nmat.org.in. The facility is available in the Quick Links on the right side of the screen and enter a valid email ID. Click on “No, I am a new user”. New user registration details will open, enter your first and last name and choose a password. Click on “Register and Sign In” button. You need to create an account on nmat.org.in using a valid email address.

Step-2: Validate email Id
A new window will appear prompting you to complete the online application form. An authentication email will be sent to the email you provided. You will be able to proceed with registration only after validating your email ID.

Step-3: Complete online form
Now you will need to complete the online application form related to your personal, educational and work experience. Choose the schools to send your scores under the "Programme Details" section. Up to 5 programmes are included in your registration fee. An additional fee of INR 200+ applicable taxes will be applied for each programme added in excess of 5 programmes.

To understand and proceed with the registration process, refer the “Registration Guide” available with registration form. You must read the Terms and Conditions and click on the “I Agree” button to accept.

Step-4: Submit
Click on the Submit button to complete your registration. But remember to review your application carefully before submitting the form. Once the “Submit” button is clicked for the registration form of NMAT by GMAC, no other changes can be made except “Update Programme Selection/ Retake” and “Update Candidate Preferences” sections.

The next screen will display your unique NMAT Registration Number.

Step-5: Make payment
Pay the applicable exam fee for successful completion of NMAT by GMAC registration.

Click on the “Click here to make payment” link that appears along with the NMAT Registration Number. The Make Payment screen will display the payment options. You can make online Payment through Visa or MasterCard Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking/American Express Card/ Diners Card, IMPS, UPI and Mobile Wallets. After successful registration, you will receive an email with your unique NMAT Registration Number. You should use this NMAT Registration Number for all future correspondence with GMAC.

Scheduling the date for NMAT by GMAC exam

After your application and fee is accepted by GMAC, you will receive an email with your username and password to schedule your test on a preferred date and location subject to availability. Please also remember to register for the NMAT exam during the registration window in order to become eligible for an “NMAT Retake” exam. Once your payment is realized, your schedule exam option will be activated in your dashboard, so that you can go ahead and schedule your exam.

NMAT by GMAC: Exam pattern
The duration of NMAT by GMAC exam is 2 hours and the exam is divided in 3 sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.  Read more about NMAT 2017 exam details

The NMAT by GMAC exam structure and content will not change in 2017 and will remain on the 2016 test pattern.

If an NMAT 2017 aspirant is not satisfied with his performance and thinks that he/she can improve the scores by taking NMAT 2017 again, the test can be scheduled for ‘Retake’ 3 times with a gap of 15 days.
