Stage 1: Taking CMAT 2024 Exam
The first part of the Selection Procedure of CMAT 2024 is based on the performance of the candidate in the CMAT 2024 exam that can be gauged with the overall score, percentile score as well as sectional score in the CMAT 2024 exam. CMAT Selection Procedure 2024 may not prove to be difficult. It is worthwhile to understand the CMAT 2024 exam pattern before moving to CMAT selection procedure:
CMAT Exam is now conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and not by AICTE. Stage 2: CMAT 2024 Result
2nd stage of CMAT selection procedure is the declaration of CMAT result and release of score card. The CMAT score card contains – Overall raw score, sectional raw score, overall percentile score and sectional percentile score. The CMAT 2024 Selection procedure depends upon your place in the CMAT 2024 National merit list.
CMAT 2024 Merit list is announced alongwith the CMAT result for all the candidates who appear in CMAT exam and no candidate is disqualified. Stage-3: Submission of CMAT Score to the B-School
You also need to submit your CMAT 2024 exam score to the respective B-school where you have already applied or plan to apply now before the close of application date of the institute.
Stage-4: Shortlisting For Final CMAT Admission Process
Next phase of CMAT Admission process is the shortlisting for final admission round based on CMAT exam score by the B-school/University where you have applied for MBA admission 2024. The shortlisting process under CMAT selection procedure 2024 in some B-schools begins even before the declaration of CMAT result and they ask you to submit your CMAT score later, but in some institutes where you apply after the CMAT result declaration, you need to submit your CMAT score along with the application. The B-schools shortlist the candidates on the basis of CMAT 2024 Entrance test scores for final selection round which may contain GD-PI-WAT or PI-WAT or GD-PI or may have different components.
The shortlisting by the B-schools in CMAT Admission process is done as per its individual admission policy. The decision on minimum section wise and overall cut off in CMAT entrance exam at the time of shortlisting will be taken by the respective B-school
If the candidate does not get minimum prescribed score in CMAT 2024 entrance exam, he/she may not be considered for shortlisting for final selection stage in CMAT admission process.
Stage 5: Participate in GD-PI & Get Final Admission offer
Final CMAT Admission Process & Final admission offer after selection procedure of CMAT 2024 is completed, mark the final stage of CMAT admission process.
Most of the top MBA colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, PUMBA, among 330+ other Maharashtra MBA colleges participate in DTE CAP counselling round to finalize the MBA admission process with CMAT scores. The Centralized Admission Process is common for all the candidates seeking MBA admission 2024 through CMAT exam scores and are of All India category.
Many MBA colleges conduct their individual GD-PI process to select candidates through CMAT selection procedure for MBA admission. The CMAT selection procedure for final CMAT admission process is based on the CMAT 2024 Entrance exam score, academic performance, work experience and performance in GD-PI round. After the GD-PI-WAT round, final admission offers will be made in May/June 2024 by the B-schools to successful candidates.
