As announced on May 8, XLRI and MBAUniverse.com are organizing the 14th INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE (IMC) 2024 on September 19-20-21, 2024 at XLRI Jamshedpur campus. Starting this year, in addition to all the regular sessions, IMC Conclave is all set to expand its footprint by inviting the growing management research community in India. Organizers have revealed that a key highlight of IMC 2024 is the IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC), which will bring together top Journal Editors, Management Experts, Academics and Scholars. Many leading Journals have accepted to publish papers presented at IMC-IRC 2024. Call for Papers open and the last date for Abstract Submission is June 30, 2024.
IMC International Research Conference 2024 Announced
Earlier this week, XLRI Director Fr S George, S J, and Mr. Amit Agnihotri, Founder & Convenor of Indian Management Conclave had announced that XLRI will host the 14th IMC 2024 on September 19-20-21 at XLRI Jamshedpur. Welcoming the IMC to XLRI, Director Fr George said, “XLRI is delighted to partner and host the 14th edition of Indian Management Conclave at XLRI Jamshedpur campus.” Confirming the partnership, Mr Agnihotri said, “Indeed, we are excited to bring our marquee conference to XLRI Jamshedpur, which is a true pioneer of management education in India.”
Announcing the IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) 2024, Prof Sanjay Patro, Dean-Academics, XLRI Jamshedpur said, “XLRI Jamshedpur is particularly excited to collaborate with MBAUniverse.com to jointly organize the IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) 2024. IMC-IRC 2024 shall serve as an annual platform for academics and scholars to research and publish key aspects of management education.”
IMC-IRC 2024 Theme Released
“Advancing Management Education” serves as the overarching theme of the IMC-IRC 2024 conference, highlighting the crucial role of management institutions in shaping the socioeconomic landscape of the future. As industries undergo transformation and global challenges emerge, the pedagogy of Management Education must evolve to equip forthcoming leaders with the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes required for success. This underscores the necessity for educational institutions to instill in future business leaders the principles of responsible leadership, ethical decision-making, and sustainable business practices.
Highlighting the conference theme, Prof Sanjay Patro added, “To be held on the theme of Advancing Management Education, IMC-IRC 2024 shall serve as an annual platform for academics and scholars to research and publish key aspects of management education relating to curricula, innovative assessment, industry engagement and experiential learning including inclusive educational and ethical learning practices.”

Call for Papers & Important Dates
Call For Papers for IMC-IRC 2024 is now open. IMC-IRC has invited original and unpublished manuscripts from academics, professionals, and doctoral students for presentation and participation in the IMC Conference. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to present their papers at XLRI Jamshedpur.

IMC 2024 part of Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at XLRI Jamshedpur
XLRI – Xavier School of Management (formerly Xavier Labour Relations Institute) was founded in 1949 in the steel city of Jamshedpur as the oldest business school in India. Over the years, XLRI has developed a distinct identity. IMC Past Hosts: India’s top management institutions
Organized by MBAUniverse.com in partnership with India’s top B-schools and knowledge organizations, IMC is India's definitive annual management education conference. Each year, the conference is hosted by a leading management institution.
The first five editions of the IMC Conclave were held at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. Thereafter, the 6th IMC 2015, the first IMC conference to be held by a management institution, was hosted by the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad in 2015. In 2016, IIM Ahmedabad hosted the 7th IMC 2016 at its iconic campus at the Ravi Mathai Auditorium. Thereafter, the conference moved to South India, when IIM Bangalore hosted the 9th IMC 2018 at its campus.
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, IMC returned to its roots. IMC celebrated its 10th Anniversary on August 2-3, 2019 in New Delhi with the Former President of India Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee as our Chief Guest. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 11th edition of the IMC conference saw a delay of more than a year. The conference returned in its full glory in December 2021, when MDI Gurgaon hosted the 11th IMC 2021 on December 20-21. IIM Kozhikode hosted the 12th IMC 2022 on December 9-10. Hon'ble Former President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind was the Chief Guest and presented the IMC Awards 2022 to Winners. SPJIMR Mumbai hosted the 13th IMC 2023, which is focused on the theme of Business Value Creation in the Age of Disruption.
