In a surprise turn of event, DTE Maharashtra has declared the MAH CET 2014 results on its website. Earlier, the results were schedule to announce on April 21, 2014.

Results of MAHCET 2014 for admission to MMS/PGDM programmes in Government aided, University and the private B schools are out. DTE Maharashtra has announced the results 11 days in advance from the date scheduled for declaration of MAHCET 2014 results. It was the first entrance test for management programmes conducted by Maharashtra Government Technical Education Department (DTE Maharashtra) after the gap of one year as the test was discontinued in 2013 and was restored after winning the legal battle.

MAHCET 2014 the gate way for admission to 400+ B schools across Maharashtra was conducted in two day test window on march 15 and 16, 2014. Top B schools like JBIMS, KJ Somaiya, SIMSREE, NL Dalmia, PUMBA are a few of the many institutes that admit students on the basis of Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra. MAHCET 2014 was the first computer based on line test. Apart from more than 42 thousand management aspirants from Maharashtra around 11 thousand of aspirants from rest of India took the test for 45 thousand MMS/PGDM seats across Maharashtra.

Activity list after MAH CET 2014 results
- Document verification, updation and confirmation of Application Form for Admission for Maharashtra State/OMS/J&K candidates will be done from May 12, 2014 to May 22, 2014. Candidates have to visit in person at their respective ARC i.e. Application Receipt Centres.
-Provisional merit lists for Maharashtra State; All India and J&K candidates will be displayed on May 26, 2014 at 5:00 PM on DTE website.
- Submission of grievance, for Maharashtra, All India and J&K candidates is allowed between May 26-30, 2014 at the ARCs.
- Final Merit list for Maharashtra, All India and J&K candidates will be declared on June 2, 2014 at 5.00 PM.

Centralized Admission Process for MAH CET 2014
For the academic year 2014-15, the Competent Authority shall conduct total four rounds of Centralized Admission.
- The CAP shall consist of first three (3) rounds by Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates will fill separate Online Option forms for respective rounds. The first three rounds shall be based on computerized allotment.
- Fourth round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.
-Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage at ARC as per the above notified schedule. Applications sent by Post/Courier etc., to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made.
