Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur has been awarded the coveted international accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). XLRI is one of the top 8 B schools who have been awarded with this international accreditation by AMBA in India.

Speaking on the occasion of XLRI being awarded the prestigious accreditation by AMBA, Fr. E. Abraham S.J. Director, XLRI said, We are extremely happy to announce that our MBA & MBM provision has been awarded accreditation by AMBAs International Accreditation Advisory Board. AMBA accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education and is earned only by the best programmes. XLRI with its singular philosophy of Magis, i.e., pursuit of excellence in all endeavours, has continually focused on three inter-related areas: academic excellence, personal values and societal concern. Our institution has spared no effort to make our curriculum world-class and deliver it in the most effective manner. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is the international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, established in 1967 with the aim to raise the profile of business education and the MBA qualification in UK and Europe. AMBAs accreditation service is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and MBM programmes and it is the only professional membership association connecting MBA students and graduates, accredited business schools and MBA employers in more than 110 countries.

There are around 3900 B schools in India catering to MBA/PGDM education to management aspirants. Out of them, only 7 other highly ranked B schools apart from XLRI have been awarded AMBA Accreditation. The other B schools with AMBA accreditation are IIM Calcutta; IIM Kozhikode; IIM Lucknow; IMI New Delhi; MDI Gurgaon; SPJIMR Mumbai; Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai.
