Ranking Methodology used by Financial Times in brief The ranking is compiled using alumni survey and various data collected by the schools for world ranking including Singapore MBA Colleges Ranking.
1. To be eligible to participate in FT ranking, a school must have AACSB or EQUIS accreditation. A programme must have been running for atleast four years and the first batch must have graduated atleast three years before the ranking publication date.
2. The schools must have a minimum number of 30 graduates each year.
3. Atleast 20% of the alumni must respond to the FT survey.
4. Alumni survey is made up of eight criteria which include salary increase of the alumni before MBA and three years after graduation.
5. The FT Global MBA is a relative ranking evaluated by ranking schools against each other and removing schools that did not meet the response rate threshold from the alumni survey.
Ranking Methodology by QS Top MBA Employability after MBA is the most important measure in QS MBA ranking including Singapore MBA Colleges Ranking. They collect surveys from employers and let them select international MBA colleges from which they will consider hiring MBA graduates from. Employers focusing on domestic hiring are not included on the survey. Apart from employability, academic reputation is taken into consideration.
Ranking Methodology by Forbes Return on Investment is the key criteria for Forbes Business School ranking. Alumni surveys are collected which included salary comparison before and after MBA. Schools where alumni have a negative ROI are not included. The same methodology is used in Singapore MBA Colleges Ranking. Forbes generally separates U.S. and Non U.S. MBA colleges in the rankings.
Ranking Methodology by Eduniversal The Eduniversal Evaluation System (EES) includes ranking and rating of two separate categories with two separate methodologies. The top 1000 global business schools, and the top 4000 Masters and MBA programs, both are selected from 9 geographical zones and 154 countries. They use a three step process which includes quantitative criteria, qualitative criteria, international criteria and deans vote. The methodology used by Eduniversal has placed Singapore MBA Colleges Ranking in high position.
