Financial Times Masters in Management 2024 Rankings Announced: Fourteen Indian B-schools Ranked; SPJIMR Ranked No 1 in India; Check Complete List & Rankings
Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management 2024 ranking are out! A record number of 14 Indian B-schools have featured in this prestigious global ranking. SPJIMR Mumbai is ranked as India’s #1 business school and #35 globally in the FT MiM ranking 2024. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore were ranked #39 and #41 respectively.
It must be noted here that FT MiM Ranking ranks Masters or MBA equivalent programmes which require limited or no work experience. Hence, the flagship MBA or PGDM programs from leading Indian B-schools are ranked. For instance, IIMA’s 2 year PGP (MBA) and SPJIMR PGDM programs are ranked. The ranking is based on 19 criteria and has a high weightage on salaries and placements. Alumni responses are used for eight criteria that together contribute 56 per cent of the ranking’s total weight. The remaining 11 criteria are calculated from school data and account for 44 per cent of the weight. Check details below.

St Gallen has returned to the top spot in FT Ranking, the 13th time the Swiss school has been number one. INSEAD is the highest new entrant, straight into third place. Shanghai’s Antai is the highest ranked school outside Europe.

FT MiM Ranking 2024 Methodology
This is the 20th edition of the FT Masters in Management (MiM) ranking. A total of 141 MiM programmes took part in the ranking process in 2024. Only AACSB or EQUIS accredited Business schools were ranked.
