1. IIM Jammu Admission Process through CAP 2024: Key Details
For MBA admission 2024 in following 10 new & baby IIMs, A Common Admission Process (CAP) comprising Online Personal Interview will be conducted by IIM Kashipur. Registration process for CAP 2024 is open till January 29, 2024 and the CAP round begins in February 2024. 2. IIM Jammu Admission Process through SAP 2024: Key Details
In addition to the Common Admission Process, IIM Jammu will conduct an additional Supplementary Admission Process (SAP 2024) for candidates who meet IIM Jammu PI shortlisting criteria but do not meet the CAP 2024 cut off criteria. Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) is conducted by IIM Jammu and two other CAP participating third generation IIMs for the candidates who have not been shortlisted and have not been able to participate in Common Admission Process (CAP). The shortlisting criteria for SAP 2024 have a lower CAT cut off than applied for CAP round.

SAP will consist of PI round. CAT 2023 score is the sole criteria for SAP shortlisting. The Admission Committee of SAP Participating IIMs reduces the overall as well as section-wise minimum CAT cut off for all candidates to get the desired number of candidates. Since CAP cut offs are higher than the reduced cut off in SAP IIMs’ shortlisting process, there may be many candidates who have not qualified to participate in CAP 2024 process. For such candidates, these IIMs will conduct PI through separate Supplementary Admission Process (SAP). Registration process for SAP 2024 opens separately from January last week to mid February.

The table below indicates the minimum performance expected from candidates to be shortlisted for the PI. However, achieving the cut-off percentile in CAT is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being shortlisted by IIM Jammu will decide the number of candidates to be called for the PI for each category, depending on which the cut off percentiles can also change.

8. IIM Jammu Selection Process through SAP 2024
For the candidates shortlisted for PI as per IIM Jammu shortlisting criteria, but not qualified for CAP 2024, PI will be conducted through separate process - Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) 2024. The performance of the candidate in PI of SAP 2024 would be considered for preparing the merit list

9.3 SAP 2024 shortlisting Criteria for Female Candidates
Following table for shortlisting is for female candidates only. The female candidates, who are shortlisted based on the cutoffs below and not clearing the cut-offs mentioned above will be considered for super-numerary girl seats only. The PI process for such candidates will be conducted through SAP 2024. Registration window will be opened in the second week of February 2024.

IIM Jammu SAP 2024 Shortlisting Criteria for Female candidates

IIM Jammu's Admission Committee decides the number of candidates who would be called for Personal Assessment (PA) process in SAP on the basis of criteria prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates are found to be less than the required number of candidates to be called for PI category-wise, the overall as well as section-wise minimum score requirement in IIM Jammu cut off, would be reduced to get the desired number of candidates.

9. IIM Jammu Final Admission Criteria 2024: Exam Accepted, Final Selection Process
IIM Jammu Admission 2024 through CAP is a five-stage process

• Stage 1: Shortlist Release for CAP 2024/ SAP 2024 Round after CAT Result declaration
• Stage-2: Conduct of PA Round comprising Personal Interview (PI). The PA process will be common to IIMs which are participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024/SAP 2024
• Stage-3: The Final Selection List based on CAT score, CAP/SAP Score and other parameters
• Stage-4: Offer for Provisional Admission for the MBA 2024-26 batch
• Stage-5: Reporting for joining the MBA 2024-26 program

10. IIM Jammu Permanent Campus & Srinagar Campus 
Presently IIM Jammu is operating from the temporary campus at Government College of Engineering and Technology, Old University Campus, Kanal Road, Jammu, J&K – 180016. The permanent 200 acres campus of IIM Jammu is located at Jagati, 14 Kms. from Jammu City, about 16 Kms. from Jammu Railway Station and 18 Kms. from Jammu Airport. The estimated cost of construction of IIM Jammu campus is Rs.450 crores. The permanent campus will commence operation from the academic session 2024-25 and the classes for IIM Jammu MBA 2024-26 batch will be conducted at the new permanent building.

The State of the Art Infrastructure in a larger and well equipped campus, the 200 acres IIM Jammu Permanent Campus will be inaugurated soon by None other than the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Facilities offered at IIM Jammu new campus are well equipped Academic block, well equipped Library, Hostel building, Mess & Dining Block, Auditorium, Administration Building, Faculty Block, Activity Block, Sports & Recreation among others.

10.1 IIM Jammu Srinagar Campus: Permanent Off Campus
IIM Jammu has constructed Permanent Off Campus at Srinagar to train people with the programs on the local horticulture, agriculture and processing industries. Besides, the campus will offer them tailor- made management programmes and short-term courses. IIM Jammu has set up incubation centres both at Srinagar off-campus and at IIM Jammu campus to nurture entrepreneurship among students. Dr B.S. Instead of awarding diploma, IIM Jammu now awards MBA degree to the students of its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and has changed the programme name to Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year, full-time, residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. Each year consists of three trimesters, with 8 weeks of summer internship. Mentored by IIM Lucknow, IIM Jammu participates in Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted for 10 new IIMs for final selection of candidates.

12. IIM Jammu launches IPM Programme

The youngest among IIMs and set up in 2016, IIM Jammu has seen six batches graduate. It was initially attached to IIM Lucknow. IIM Jammu joined the IIM family as the 20th IIM of the country.
