IIM SAP 2025: IIM Bodh Gaya, Jammu, Sirmaur to conduct joint MBA Admission Process; Check Criteria, Cut Off, Process
IIM Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) is conducted by IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu and IIM Sirmaur for the candidates who do not get shortlisted in IIM Common Admission Process (CAP) process but have good CAT cut offs. IIM SAP Cut Offs are lower than IIM CAP cut offs. Last year, shortlisting criteria for IIM SAP 2024 was released on January 23 and last date to register was February 19, 2024. 1. What is IIM SAP Process?
Supplementary Admission Process or SAP is the final selection round for MBA admission in three IIMs – IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu and IIM Sirmaur. SAP consists of Personal Interview round, and is conducted for the candidates who have not been shortlisted for IIM CAP round but have good CAT scores. CAT score is the sole criteria for IIM SAP shortlisting. Registration process for SAP 2024 opens separately from January last week to mid February every year.

The SAP round is conducted for following 3 IIMs

- IIM Jammu
- IIM Sirmaur
These IIMs also participate in IIM CAP process.
4. IIM SAP 2025 Shortlisting Criteria
CAT percentile score is the sole criteria to shortlist the candidates for SAP round. The PI process for the candidates, who are clearing the cut-off mentioned below and not clearing the cut-off mentioned for CAP will be conducted through SAP. 5. SAP Vs CAP Shortlisting Cut Off Criteria 2024
SAP shortlisting criteria is based on lower CAT cut off than which is applied for CAP. While last year IIM CAP Cut Off was 94 percentile for general candidates, IIM SAP Cut Off was 91-92 percentile.
IIM SAP Registration 2025
Candidates interested for IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu and IIM Sirmaur admission 2025 but have not been shortlisted for CAP 2025, can register and apply for admission through SAP. For these candidates, PI round will be conducted through separate process. The performance of the candidate in PI of SAP 2024 would be considered for preparing the merit list.
In summary, IIM SAP is conducted by IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu and IIM Sirmaur for the candidates who do not get shortlisted in IIM CAP process. IIM SAP Cut Offs are lower than IIM CAP Cut Offs. IIM SAP registrations 2025 will open by mid-January.
