IMC Research Conference receives overwhelming response with 125+ Submissions on Management Education research; Call for Paper Closed

XLRI and Indian Management Conclave are organizing the IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) on September 19-20-21, 2024 at XLRI Jamshedpur. To promote research on emerging trends in management education, IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) 2024 is being held during the Conclave. Organizers have revealed that IMC-IRC has received a strong response from the management academic community in India.

IMC International Research Conference 2024 Receives Overwhelming Response

In late May 2024, Conference theme and Call for Papers were announced for IMC-IRC 2024. “Advancing Management Education” serves as the overarching theme of the IMC-IRC 2024 conference. Announcing the same, Prof Sanjay Patro, Dean-Academics, XLRI Jamshedpur said, “XLRI Jamshedpur is particularly excited to collaborate with MBAUniverse.com to jointly organize the IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) 2024. IMC-IRC 2024 shall serve as an annual platform for academics and scholars to research and publish key aspects of management education.”

In line with the overarching theme, IMC-IRC 2024 had invited papers for following tracks: 

• Track 1: Advancing Management Education for Sustainable Development
• Track 2: Teaching Methodologies & Pedagogical Innovation in Management Education
• Track 3: Academic Processes, Quality Assurance, & Outcome Assessment
• Track 4: Competencies for Employability, Career Advancement, & Entrepreneurship

Call for Paper Closed
Call for Submission was closed on July 3. The organizers have revealed that IMC-IRC has received more than 125 submissions for the four research tracks.

Commenting on the response for IMC-IRC 2024, Mr Amit Agnihotri, Convenor of IMC Conclave said, “We are humbled by the response from our management academic community for IMC-IRC 2024. It is clear the academics and scholars are keen to research emerging trends of the dynamic management education sector. The ideas and knowledge from the research conference will further enrich the IMC Conclave.”

IMC-IRC is an integral part of 14th INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE (IMC) 2024. In May, 2024, XLRI Director Fr S George, S J, and Mr. Amit Agnihotri, Founder & Convenor of Indian Management Conclave had announced that XLRI will host the 14th IMC 2024 on September 19-20-21 at XLRI Jamshedpur. Welcoming the IMC to XLRI, Director Fr George said, “XLRI is delighted to partner and host the 14th edition of Indian Management Conclave at XLRI Jamshedpur campus.”

Call for Papers Closed; Author Registrations to Open Soon
Call For Papers for IMC-IRC 2024 is now closed. Registration process for Authors will open soon. Important dates are:

Both IMC 2024 and IMC-IRC 2024 will be held exclusively offline and in-person mode at XLRI Jamshedpur. At least one of the co-authors must register for the inclusion of paper in the conference presentations. With the generosity of conference host XLRI Jamshedpur and other conference partners, registration fee is:

• Faculty: Rs 2,000 only
• Research Scholars/ Students: Rs. 1,000 only
• Registrations for Selected Paper Presenters will open soon.

IMC 2024 part of Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at XLRI Jamshedpur 
XLRI – Xavier School of Management (formerly Xavier Labour Relations Institute) was founded in 1949 in the steel city of Jamshedpur as the oldest business school in India.
