Jaipuria’s AACSB Accreditation Journey: Big Win for ‘One Jaipuria’
Indeed, convincing AACSB International to accredit all Jaipuria campuses in Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur, and Indore is a rare distinction. As said, while there are many multicampus B-schools in India like NMIMS University and IMT Group, no B-schools has managed to get the AACSB accreditation for all campuses. Speaking with MBAUniverse.com, Vice Chairman Shreevats Jaipuria said that this is the ultimate validation of ‘One Jaipuria’ philosophy.
When asked how did Jaipuria Institute of Management convince AACSB team to accredit for all the four campuses, Shreevats Jaipuria said, “Jaipuria Institute of Management has been functioning as a single institution with multiple campuses. We have a high degree of integration in terms of all our processes be it admissions, placement, curriculum development, faculty development or other administrative processes to ensure that our stakeholders get a common experience across campuses. This made it possible for us to apply to and get accredited from AACSB as a single institution.” He added, “Furthermore, AICTE has also recognized us a single institution with multiple campuses.”
As an early adopter of one-institution multiple-campus philosophy, is this achievement the final validation, we asked? “Yes definitely,” said Mr Jaipuria. He added, “This is the ultimate validation of our One Jaipuria philosophy. The AACSB team went very deep to make sure that students, faculty members, staff members and recruiters did indeed get a similar value delivery across campuses. Members of the Peer Review Team visited each of the four campuses to make sure that they individually and collectively meet AACSB standards. They came out convinced of this.”
