Program Content: SDMIMD PGDM programme curriculam is of global standard and is consistently updated as per industry requirement. More Students with Work Experience: In this 2020-22 PGDM batch, 58 students with prior work experience have joined SDMIMD. Out of 58 students 47 students have more than 12 months of work experience. A few students have work experience as long as of 66 and 96 months. According to Dr Parasuraman, “The prominent sectors where our students have previously worked are IT, Finance & Banking, Consulting, E-Marketing and Manufacturing.”

10. Dual Specializations: Unique Opportunity
SDMIMD offers dual specialization in its PGDM programme with supplementary offerings with NSE, AIMA, KPMG - an opportunity which is not available in most of the B-schools. According to Dr Parasuraman, “Supplementary offerings with NSE, AIMA, KPMG are the great opportunity for the SDMIMD students.”
Specialization are offered in Finance, Marketing, Systems, Data Analytics, Human Resources Management and Operations. First year or the first 3 terms are common to all and in the second year, or from terms 4-6, the specialization comes into effect. Summer Internship of 2 months will be scheduled between the first and the second year.
SDMIMD was established in 1994 and till date 24 batches of PGDM graduates have passed out from its portals. The 2 years Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is the flagship programme at SDMIMD. The admission for 2 years full time PGDM 2021-23 batch at SDMIMD is open.
