MAH MBA CET has seen consistent increase in number of registrations and test takers. This year it is poised to break last year record. It is expected that 1.35 lakh candidates have registered for MAH MBA CET 2024 and out of them 1.18 lakhs have taken the exam on March 9, 10, & 11. With this high number, a tough competition awaits for admission in JBIMS, PUMBA, SIMSREE among other top colleges during the CAP round 2024.

MAH MBA CET 2024 is poised to hit a higher than last year record with more registrations and higher percentage of test takers. MAH MBA CET has seen consistent increase in number of registrations and test takers over the years even during Covid pandemic situation. This year it is poised to break last year record. It is expected that 1.35 lakh candidates have registered for MAH MBA CET 2024 and out of them 1.18 lakhs have taken the exam on March 9, 10, & 11. MAH MBA CET Registration Numbers and Test Takers: Key Trends
MBA CET registration numbers have witnessed consistent increase over the years despite the fact that MAH MBA CET has remained a centre based exam and most of its exam centres are located in Maharashtra only. The exam is held only for the MBA admission in 330+ Maharashtra B-schools. MAH MBA CET has witnessed 80 to 92 percent presence of candidates in the exam during different exam years. MBA Seats for Admission 2024 through MBA CET
There are around 40,000 MBA/MMS/PGDM Seats available for admission 2024 in 330+ MBA colleges in Maharashtra through MBA CET exam. The admission is offered through Centralized counselling known as Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra for all the 330+ MBA colleges offering low fee MBA programmes as the fee is decided by the ‘Shikshan Shulka Samiti’ of Government of Maharashtra. It may be noted that around 15 to 35% seats are reserved for All India Category candidates. This is probably the key reason that thousands of students from all over the country apply and appear in MAH MBA CET and increase its registration numbers.

This year MAH MBA CET 2024 was successfully conducted by CET Cell on March 9, 10, 11, 2024 in multiple slots without any technical glitches as happened last year. No threat of re-exam is faced this year. MAH MBA CET 2024 was rated a moderate difficulty exam and as such it is expected that a high percentage of marks between 155 to 165 will award 99.99 percentile. The DTE CAP 2024 round is expected to open for registration in the last week of May 2024.
