• Admission for all the Full Time MBA Programmes is through NMAT by GMAC exam
• You can apply for more than one Programme and more than one campus. NMIMS has campuses at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Indore.
• NMIMS will accept candidates from the NMAT Main examination only i.e. the first take of NMAT exam. No NMAT Retake score will be accepted.

4.2.1 Step-1: Register and apply for NMAT exam 2024
The first thing is to Register and apply for NMAT by GMAC 2024 exam before the last date of registration for NMAT exam. After you have received your GMAC ID, please go to Step 2 and complete your NMIMS registration. Register Now

4.2.2 Step-2: Apply to NMIMS before NMAT exam date

• Register with NMIMS before your scheduled date of exam or NMIMS last date whichever is earlier. For example, if your NMAT exam is scheduled on 15th November 2024, you should apply for NMIMS MBA admission on or before 14th November 2024.
• You can register and appear for Main or Re-apply for NMAT examination But, NMIMS will accept candidates from the Main examination only. It means that the candidates qualifying the NMIMS cut off based on NMAT retake exam scores will not be part of the 2nd stage of selection process and the Retake/Reapplication scores will not considered for further selection process.

4.2.3 Step-3: Check Short-list on the basis of NMAT Score
NMIMS shortlists the candidates on the basis of following parameters:

• NMIMS-SBM, Mumbai will consider NMAT by GMAC 2024 exam score of the applicants for shortlisting for final admission round.
• Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the combination of their score in NMAT by GMAC exam and latest preferences of the programmes selected on the NMIMS application / reapplication form.

4.2.4 Step-4: CD-PI, the "Final Selection Round"
This Stage of selection process is managed by NMIMS for the shortlisted candidates and will be as under:

• Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round) at the designated centres which may contain Psychometric test or Written Analytic Test along with personal Interview. 
• The selection criteria will be based on merit only. Decision regarding cut-off of the merit list will solely lie with NMIMS. 

4.2.5 Step-5 Final Merit List & Admission Offer

• NMIMS Mumbai selection criteria in final admission round award weight to Entrance exam score; Academics; Work Experience and performance in Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) round. 
• No weightage will be awarded for the work experience below 6 months. Besides, Training/Project work/work done as an integral part of curricular requirement will not be considered. 
• The criteria to generate final merit list for admission will be based on the application data in terms of academic marks obtained, work experience, marks obtained in NMAT by GMAC 

4.2.6 Documents to be Uploaded at the time of Admission
At the time of admission self-attested photocopies are to be uploaded and original/s documents will be required for verification during program commencement. The original/s documents are to be submitted by stipulated dates (as applicable). Scanned copies of the required documents to be uploaded include 10th & 12th Marksheet & Passing Certificate, 12th Marksheet & Passing Certificate, Degree Marksheet (for 1,2,3,4 ……… years), Migration Certificate, Work Experience Certificate and other documents. 

5. How to Apply for NMIMS Mumbai MBA Admission 2025?
For admission to NMIMS University programmes NMIMS online application on NMIMS website has to be duly submitted & payment of application fee of Rs.2800 need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time. Candidates are required to fill only one application form even if they are applying for multiple programs/campuses.

5.1 Common Application Form
There is a common application form for all the NMIMS campuses including Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore and Navi Mumbai. Since all the campuses of NMIMS will accept NMAT by GMAC exam score, it is also important that the candidates should register and apply for NMAT by GMAC before the last date.
