SNAP Cut off & Placements

With the declaration of SNAP 2018 result for MBA admission 2019 in Symbiosis Institutes on January 10, 2019 at 4PM, candidates have now started looking for the admission opportunities based on shortlisting cut offs, placements in SIBM Pune, SCMHRD among other Symbiosis institutes.

The cut offs in SIBM Pune, SCMHRD are expected to go beyond 95 percentile, however the candidates may get sigh of relief as they have got high percentile at low scores on account of difficulty level of SNAP 2018. Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune has shared the following shortlisting criteria for various Symbiosis institutes.

  • Candidates will be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT based on their overall SNAP Percentile
  • Category-wise cut off will be published on the website of the respective institute
  • Short-list will be based on the following Parameters

Cut offs in Symbiosis institutes
SNAP 2018 cut offs are applicable for admission 2019 in 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges accepting SNAP score. These institutes will offer MBA admission 2019 on the basis of SNAP 2018 exam score cut offs.  SNAP 2018 cut offs in these MBA colleges accepting SNAP scores vary from institute to institute. The shortlisting is done on the basis of overall score cut offs.

SNAP 2018 exam was held on December 16, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM. The test takers found SNAP 2018 slightly more difficult than last year. It is expected that SNAP 2018 score cut offs in SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune and other Symbiosis institutes would be lower than last year.

The final merit list for all the programmes of the University affiliated institutes is proposed to be declared by the last week of February 2019. 

To explore admission opportunity in the 15 MBA colleges affiliated to Symbiosis international University candidates have to register and apply to the respective B school apart from appearing in SNAP. There is no limit to the number of institute (s) that a candidate may apply to. If shortlisted, the candidate would then attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes.

Shortlisted candidates on the basis of SNAP 2018 exam will have the opportunity to get admission to one of the 15 Symbiosis B-schools affiliated to Symbiosis International University (SIU) who will accept SNAP 2018 scores for their respective 2 years full time flagship MBA batch 2019-21.
