7.1 SPJIMR Eligibility for Academics 
While the SPJIMR eligibility criteria need only 50% marks in graduation but your academic profile in SPJIMR admission process plays very important role as SPJIMR will take into account your academic performance from class 10 onwards.

7.1.1 Performance in Class 10 & 12
Performance in 10th grade, 12th grade will be considered in the selection process for PGDM 2025-27 batch. In the 10th Grade and 12th Grade performance, an aggregate of all subjects scores (marks) mentioned on the mark sheet will be considered for arriving at the final percentage.

7.1.2 Graduation Performance
Although the minimum SPJIMR eligibility for admission 2025 is a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, the performance in every year of graduation is considered important by SPJIMR in its admission process.  Students in their final year of graduation can also apply. Fresh graduates and those with up to five years of work experience can apply for admission. 

7.2 SPJIMR Eligibility: Acceptable Entrance Exams & Work Ex

• SPJIMR Mumbai admission will be based on CAT 2024 and GMAT (Taken between Jan 01, 2022 and Dec 10, 2024) exam score. GMAT New Focus Edition is also accepted for admission 2025. 
• SPJIMR is no longer accepting XAT exam score for the last four years. 
• Work experience is not mandatory for the PGDM and PGDM-BM programmes 
• However, the candidates with work experience upto 5 years after graduation can apply

SPJIMR Mumbai gives higher emphasis on other quality parameters in its admission process than merely on entrance exam scores. Accordingly, by choice, SPJIMR cut off for the CAT, GMAT score is not pegged very high. The candidates above the minimum prescribed SPJIMR cut-off in the CAT/GMAT will be considered for all the subsequent stages.
