13. XLRI releases XAT 2025 Candidate Response Sheet Released Without Answer Key: Sparks Confusion
XLRI Jamshedpur released the Candidate Response Sheet for XAT 2025 on the evening of January 7, 2025. However, XLRI did not release the XAT Official Answer Keys along with Response Sheet, leaving candidates confused and anxious as they were unable to verify their answers or calculate their estimated scores.
Several coaching institutes took this opportunity to publishing their own unofficial XAT Answer Keys, which exacerbated the confusion since answer keys by prominent coaching companies don’t match for many questions!
Social media platforms are flooded with candidate posts questioning XLRI’s decision, and seeking release of official answer key along with the response sheets.
Commenting on unofficial answer keys released by a prominent coaching institute, a candidate wrote on social media “Atleast 3 questions in VALR and 2 questions in DM from (coaching institute 1) are incorrect. DM question on hospital they have marked BCE but the answer is BCD even verified by (coaching institute 2). Similarly, VALR question on greedy gender pay gap one of the answers was “reinforces gender pay gap norms” this is also marked incorrect by them. I am expecting atleast 5-7 answers to be changed.”
Unhappy with XLRI decision, a candidate wrote, “why did XL release the response sheet with answer keys! What do we do with it…I expected better “decision-making” from a top MBA college!”
