Program Highlight

Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the AMBA London (4th and 5th Year). It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. Through the IPM, IIM Indore seeks to attract young students, and mould them as outstanding leaders through a world-class education.

IIM Indore IPM is a Dual Degree Programme – BBA+MBA which you can pursue after passing class 12 and without appearing in CAT exam after completing 3 years of BBA degree. The Exit option from IPM program is available after completion of 3 years with Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) degree awarded by IIM Indore.

Curriculum Highlights

The first three years of 5 years IPM programme focus on various management courses in undergraduate programme including Business Economics, Statistics, Ethics, Management theory and practice, Political science, Psychology, Public Policy, Governance among others. Industry visits, case study, interactive sessions, corporate internships are the key pedagogical tools of teaching. The last two years courses are same as that of IIM Indore flagship 2 years PGP programme. IIM Indore offers nine specialization areas to choose from, namely Economics, Finance & Accounting, Information systems, Marketing, Organization behavior & Human Resources, Operation management & Quantitative Techniques, Strategy, Communications, Humanities & Social Sciences 

IIM Indore students participate in a wide range of extra and co-curricular activities which include IRIS (The Annual Management & Cultural Festival) and Utsaha (Rural Marketing Fair). IIM Indore has exchange tie-ups with several prestigious international business schools. IIM Indore conducts Himalaya outbound programme for the final year students to enable them to perform in an unfamiliar ambience and work as a team. Rural immersion programme is conducted to enable the participants to understand the social context in which organizations work and exist. 
Students visit a company once a week in the fourth year of the Programme. They are required to carry out a study on various industries and key players in the industry. A unique matrix based structure in final year wherein participants take 10% credits in ‘Industry Vertical Courses’ and 10% credits in ‘Functional Area Courses’ in addition to the general management credits.

Eligibility Criteria

IPM eligibility criteria require class 12th pass candidates or the class 12 appearing candidates. The candidates qualifying the following minimum eligibility for admission to 5 year IPM batch 

  • Candidate should be of maximum 20 years of age (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given) 
  • Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination or appearing in the exam

Admission Process

Application Status: Open

IIM Indore IPM admission process has 5 steps. The students will undergo a rigorous IIM Indore IPM selection process to get admission into IIM Indore IPM

Step 1-Register and Apply for IPMAT: You need to register and apply for IPMAT  exam which includes the IIM Indore IPM application form fee. The registration and application form is available at iimidr.ac.in/academic-programmes/five-year-integrated-programme-in-management-ipm

Step 2: Appear in Entrance Exam IPMAT: All the applicants have to appear in the IIM Indore IPMAT entrance examination. The exam tests the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics

Step 3: Shortlist for IIM Indore Selection Process: Those who clear the IPMAT exam cut offs will be shortlisted for further rounds of IIM IPM Indore Counselling  process. The shortlisted candidates need to appear for personal interviews.

Step 4: Personal Assessment Round: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear in Personal Assessment round. The personal assessment/interview judges the following in Applicants

  • Students’ level of confidence, 
  • Communication skills, 
  • General awareness
  • Persuasion skills and knowledge

Step 5: Generation of Final Selection List: Best 150 candidates who have done well in IPMAT, have good academics, perform well in personal interview, will be granted IIM Indore IPM Admission. The final selection in IIM Indore IPM Admission will be based on Composite Score. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS)

How to Apply

IPM Application form is released on official website of IIM Indore. IPM Application form fee is Rs. 4,130/- inclusive of GST for General, EWS and NC-OBC category candidates. For  SC, ST and PwD category  candidates the IPM application form fee is Rs.2,065/- inclusive of GST.  Application form fee has to be paid online and is non-refundable/non-transferable. Recommended browsers to fill the IPM application form are: Internet Explorer (version 10 and above), OR  Mozilla Firefox (version 52 and above), OR  Google Chrome (version 58 and above). Fields marked in IPM application form with * are mandatory. Candidate have to fill in the personal details first to receive the User Id and Password. User Id would be received in the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number. For subsequent login to fill the IPM application form, candidate should use the User Id and Password to complete the application. It is important to provide correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the IPMAT registration form for IIM Indore IPM Admission is complete
